Bosch Wiper Blades?

Has anyone swapped their wiper blades and arms for those new simple style type blade and arm assembly?

Yep, I've got them. Bought them from some speciality wiper web site in the UK. Worth every cent. Think I got both fronts for about $40 delivered from the UK, when similar blades were $50-60 EACH in Australia.

Oh that's good news. Yeah I put them on all my cars and they cool. Minimalist and effective. You don't happen to have the link to that UK site or a part code do you?

No part number, I measured the stock blades and bought matching sized ones. I think one was a Mini and one was a Citroen something...

I spent ages trying to work it out. Realised rather than looking for other Nissan's they matched up to, it was easier to use the tape measure. End result is perfect, just wished I'd done the rear at the same time.

ok Josh's comment got me interested, so I dug through my email and found the invoice.

Bosch AR18U - 9.24 pounds

Bosch AR21U - 10.15 pounds

8.10 pounds delivery, 27.49 total, so about $40 at today's conversion rate.

The 8.10 works out to $11.82 AUD delivery. To me, thats about what I'd pay locally for delivery, so no big deal.

I forgot about Rainex. Good call Scott. Do you have the part number for your rear wiper at all?

Nope, I remember it required modification to fit too. It still doesn't wipe the top of the rear window.

Gees you make it all sound so complex- just go to Super cheap - (off memory one is 550mm and the other is 600mm) and switch them over, they just pop on off. Takes 3 mintues each side. The twin blade ones wipe away the same amount of water as the top end ones dont they...

Yep, completely different model, but theyre the right hook setup and the right length. I took a punt and theyre awesome.
