R33 Gts-T Stolen !

Hi all,

As post states my beloved R33 1995 GTS-T has been stolen from the front of my house in Fawkner. Pricks took it between 1-7 am I can't believe I didnt hear anything. Details of the car are as follows:

White 1995 R33 GTST coupe

17 inch P1 buddy clubs bronze colour

gtr front bar with bog patches on it, in the middle of being repaired. fmic

no spoiler, has duck wing on it.

sideskirts, right hand side skirt has sticker on it "tuned by dr drift"

tinted windows

car does stand out so again if spotted PLEASE post, contact police or me.

If anyone sees it around please contact Fawkner police 9355-6000 and ask for Const. Atherns or contact me via pm.

give alist of specific parts mate.

no doubt it will end up in western subs being stripped for parts. keep an eye on gumtree and drift sales page on face book.

Hope you find it mate, mine was stolen about 6 weeks ago too, seems to be getting just worse an worse.

I'll keep my eye on drift sales and the like, a guy was attempting to sell a stolen car on there a couple of weeks ago so you never know.

Thanks again every body for your heart felt support it means a lot to us. Having owned that car for so many years it feels like we've lost a loved one..

Just over an hour after posting that we are now sitting on 1,242 people having seen that post. The more eyes out there keeping a look out, the better the chances somebody may spot it :)

Not sure about the other page, but no doubt a couple of thousand views from there as well.

First post mate, but I'm from the area and will keep an eye out for you. An often asked question, but did it have an alarm/immobilizer? I'd be interested in comparing the amount of thefts of these vehicles which don't have an alarm to those which do. It's dizzying the rate at which these cars are stolen.

Colourclassic: Thanks mate we would appreciate it if you kept your eyes peeled :) Yeah it did have an immobilizer but installed years ago when I first got the car. So nothing flash oh and the steering wheel was locked which doesn't mean shit really as they can break that very easily too. But at the end of the day no amount of protection other than gps I think really safe guards you. If a pro wants your car I think unfortunately they win regardless :( I wish I could of caught them Id feed their balls to the dogs!

By the way my missus loves the car more than me! She's willing to post a reward to anyone who finds the car in one piece. Even more reward to anyone that finds the thieving dogs that took her from us! lol. But seriously.

      R32 non hicas power steering solenoid issues!

      So I’m having issues with my power steering. the obvious heavy and light and comes on and off randomly now it’s constantly heavy. I’ve read through forums regarding this issue and what I’ve gather is that it’s referring to hicas deletion. That’s the problem mine didn’t come with hicas.    I’ve rebuilt the steering rack, pump, changed the bent hardline on the rack and taken out the solenoid to clean and loosen up the actuator, applied 12v to get it moving. Roughly checked the loom to see if there’s any damage to the loom and nothing. Now I’m checking the wiring. I’ve tested the wiring to the solenoid and it’s fluctuating between 0.07v to 0.03v. Does anyone know what it’s supposed to be reading? 5v? Anyone one know how this all works? Is there a fuse in between? What else is it connected to? How does it connect to the speed sensor? A resistor fried in the ecu? Please help. It’s been years Thanks in advance

      that's pretty good condition, those chips are nothing. Get a mobile repairer to sort it out. Nice wheels, I had white 17's on my GT-R once, looked nice.

      Found a car that has kiki desing wheels on it with diffrent plates that match a 2008 model when clearly it's not white

      Howdy friends, So this evening I had a need to remove the rear compressor turbo pipe (long story, but I'm replacing it due to a bolt snapping off in the pipe and managing to then snap an extraction bit in the broken bolt, fun times -_-). The rear bolt is a bit of a bastard and very little room to get good leverage. I was able to get a 12 mm socket onto the bolt head, but none of my ratchets were able to fit, so I put together a "stubby" socket wrench to get it out and it worked surprisingly well 🙂. In the past I've "made" tools by cutting down spanners and bending them with a torch etc, but this 3D printed wrench was way less effort. I'll be keeping this one in my "special tool draw" from now on for sure ^_^b https://www.printables.com/model/868973-half-inch-stubby-socket-wrench
