Hey mate that sucks to hear, the only places i can think of restrictions are, dump pipe, cat, boost leak, front mount, bov. best of luck finding it man.. im still yet to find my air leak hahaha, hey at lest your curve is very smooth. But like mentioned its a good start :)

Thanks for the support and kind words. A friend has helped me squeeze in with Unigroup to test for restrictions tomorrow as jez is going overseas and has ran out of time.

Big props to dvs for the huge amount of work done to get the car going. And big thanks to Joey and Ivii for helping me squeeze in at unigroup.

I drove the car down the f1 to seven hills. And even at though I didn't reach the power I wanted, holy shit was it a different car. So punchy much sound.

Loved it.

Well. Now we are making 232kw at 13 pound because the gate opens early. But this is without det on a Unigroup dyno. So other dynos may read a bit more.

They did a touch up tune and the car is showing extremely linear response. Which is good

My Gtt had same factory sunroof goodness.

I remember the good old days keeping tinted windows up, popping my head out of the sunroof to holler at girls when I was a strapping young single p-plater :P

god I miss that car, hope it's being taken care of wherever it is now.

Good luck sorting your car issues out man, hopefully it's a simple fix with not too much moolah involved

Its been a litte while, Unfortunately my coilovers didnt last the distance so the modifications continue:

Tien super street r33 gtr coilovers

White line adjustable swaybars with the links bushings etc - 27mm 22mm

Nissan Castor rod bushes

New tie rods

Car is running great. Pics to follow later on.

GG

Also please feel free anyone to let me know about some reputable nistune tuners in Sydney.

So far have contacted

Unigroup

Mrc

Jez

I'm also keeping my eyes peeled for some drop in injectors. Id1000 would be awesome. But Depends what will come

+1 for Unigroup. Awesome guys, great service. (I don't have a nistune from them yet, but they do all the work to my car)

Joey is right !! Sorry I didn't make the cruise guys but the mods didn't finish in time.

Anyway the new setup feels great!!!! I always read about how much of a difference swaybars make and yeah it's insane. Everything is nice and tight.

More things to follow

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
