Did few more steps this morning, tried fitting up the 3/4 xspurts in stock neo rail and not happy with how far nozzle is away from the hole so i fitted the extensions with some washers for spacers..

Put the timing belt on with the two new RB30 tensioners ( double bearing) so should be nice and quiet.. aligned at close as it will go .post-70965-0-96537000-1449195145_thumb.jpgpost-70965-0-52089900-1449195163_thumb.jpgpost-70965-0-48940100-1449195194_thumb.jpg

Then lubed the top end and in the spark plug hole and turnt it by hand , bit of nervous moment lol.. was only slightly hard to turn as the rear lobes opened the valves but assuming thats normal, as a first time engine build , seeing how high the piston looks had me wondering if thats normal, pretty sure its fine though...

It is still progressing, there's a number of hoses which im not sure where they go, if anyone has a link to R34 workshop manual that would be great, im not sure where the hoses go or come from for the air reg, might have to look at some engines at the wrecker's unless someone wants a 6pack for some help lol.... here's some pics .. hoping my next post has the engine in the bay.. You can probably pick some of the hoses don't line up, i used some heater hoses off the R33 to join them to the block which also has smaller fittings, so got a couple of fitting made up to fit the larger R34 hoses to the RB30 fittings...

Just want to finish build for now, but am thinking either all carbon fibre look on the covers or a mix of carbon fibre and ceramic coating on rocker covers will look good on a silver car..

some underbody pics, can fit my hand under between the pan and power steering rack , so is some room to slot the mounts if needed..

It's a GT3076 0.83rear, will have the gate on the housing... yeah i thought about high mounting it but the first setup i ever did with the stock mani felt the best so just replicating that setup to keep it simple..

With the height of this thing, it may look more mid mounted than low.. things have got tight spaced around the firewall and intake mani..

Can confirm the bonnet closes without issue so the RB30build thread was 100% correct about lowering the motor and thanks to other knowledgable guys suggesting slotting the mounts

Progress come to holt while i gather funds for fabrication, planning a 4inch dump, plumbed back gate off housing, shortened intercooler pipe off throttle, 4inch intake pipe and tossing up on changes to the exhaust. Its currently 3 1/2inch with jap resonator which my money is on being a restriction , 100cell cat and an X-force 3 1/2inch muffler... couple of idea's are

- cut resonator out and keep rest the same

- cut resonator out and put the X force muffler in middle and a jap cannon with restrictor chopped out

I know the muffler on the end sounds more civilised but i want this thing to sound meaty so tempting to take option 2 , hmmm

I put car on ground today and made some lowering adjustment to try and get better stance, it had a 4wd look, any recommendations or input on people's R33 heights would be interesting to compare to get it sitting good but looks ok..

I like having the 265's all around give's it a more pumped up look... cant wait to get this thing started...

not an update but after fitting the turbo on stock manifold, not real good having the a/c pipes so tight and close to a 3 1/2inch / 4inch dump plus external gate so im pricing up a top mount manifold and so far the sinco top mount is coming up the goods, so stay tuned for pics for a top mount and 3076 ... i think it will look a shit load sexy and give me far better value if i choose to go GT35 later and shoot for 400kw's... just saying.. :ninja:

also, i want this combo to sound raw rb and angry so top mount may help in this regard and having middle muffler with rear cannon, silencer removed for raw rb lumpy idle :)

also going to get a slim number plate to open up the front intercooler space, will need a mod plate with all mods too to relieve stress etc..

I think the slim NPs are a good idea but a few blokes do not like them and have told me they look like crap ??

It gives you as much air intake as possible , cooler motor is a cool motor

Love the way some blokes sort of nail the plates, sometimes bent plates to a beautiful car, might have something to do with tracking ??? but it looks shit !

Guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder ?

Plate looks good pete, not sure where i'll mount mine yet but i want that intercooler area clear for the air flow and looks better too, small details though...

Exciting times ahead, ordered a sinco topmount manifold and just waiting for ceramic coating and delivery, then coat the turbo housing and see when my fabricator can get on the job.. got quite a few things for him to do , some overkill but will look sexy...

Also going to have a screamer pipe and possibly a HKS hi power 409, has silencer so i know its restrictive but will use screamer for anything drag/track related so should sound the goods :w00t:

Got the $$ now, waiting for shit to happen is frustrating but hope it will all be done in the next 6weeks..

No progress at moment, waiting for manifold and exhaust still, have sent turbo housings and rocker covers for ceramic coating so can't wait to see all these parts soon..

In other news, i acquired my brothers skyline so now i have two, i like this one more than my silver one so not sure what will happen here but i will convert to E85 and getting it dynoed, bout time i had some fun at a track or drags... Maybe start a different build thread for this one..

    • I'm selling my personal race car. 1992 BNR32 Skyline GT-R About eight years ago the engine developed the dreaded low oil pressure problem. I removed it and found the issue. However shortly after I moved half way across the country, moved my work shop, bought a house, got married, then moved my shop again to it's permanent location for the time being. in turn I do not have the time to race this car as it should be. In turn the engine I built for this car will end up in my street car and this car I hope finds a home with someone who can use it to it's full potential. The roll bar was built by Jason Noren Fabricaiton in Pomona California to SCCA and NASA Specs. The car used to compete in redline time attack and global time attack enthusiast class. It also has a fire suppression system.  The car is with me at my workshop in Kyle Texas, USA. Shipping it is no problem, I can personally deliver the car to the port of either Houston or Los Angeles. Any other port depending on where it is may require transport but we can always work that out.   The chassis itself is rust free, rear quarters and under fenders are free of any rust so it's a very solid foundation for anyone who wishes to move forward with it. As posted and at the asking price of $20,000 USD the car includes all of the following;   All OEM Body panels, front fenders, rear bumpers etc.  OEM Nissan Projector headlamps (Pictured N1 lamps were removed) OEM Nismo Side Skirts / Extensions OEM Rear Spats  Front & Rear Subframes are installed car is full roller Rear Subframe has Cusco Camber Arms, Whiteline HICAS Elimination Front Subframe has Whiteline tension rods and whiteline Sway bars w/ endlinks.  Buddy Club N1 Coilovers All chassis wiring and engine wiring is in tact. Attessa System is fully in tact and was functional before engine removal.  BCNR33 GT-R Brembo Brakes F+R with Endless MX72 Plus Pads, DBA Rotors & Stainless Steel Brake lines Billion Racing Radiator Billion Radiator Hoses Fluidyne Engine Oil Cooler Accusump System (trunk Mounted) 5 Speed Transmission w/ Transfer Case F+R Prop-shafts Rear Differential With rear Axles.  Nismo Gauge Cluster Nismo Clutch + Flywheel   Essentially what is needed to make this car running and driving again is as follows: A working Engine, an ECU, and time to put it together. The price posted is or best offer as I am willing to remove some components to accommodate price to a certain extent. If any serious buyer wants full detailed pictures, videos, or any questions I'll be happy to answer them. I believe this car is priced to move quickly considering it's a rust free and very straight chassis but always open to fair negotiation.  I can be contacted via phone or email. • So...to my (and my mechanics doing the swap) surprise...the oil pan from NEO engine does not fit 100% and needs to by modified like this: It is not a huge problem but in the future i want a "proper" oil pan. So question is...what different oil pan can i get to fit without any problems and modification? Thanks!
    • Some more info I found.  These are the last entries Yoshikiyo Fujii made on his blog before he passed away in 2009: http://blog.livedoor.jp/fujii_dynamics/ And finally this is where the workshop was situated:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/HhTPtHzt3WVcBTiEA
