Cutting Gtst Reo For Gtr Bumper

Has anyone done this ? Either for FMIC or N1 gtr bumper ?

I'm going ahead with this on the weekend so would really like some pointers or strong persuasions out of it.

I'm assuming a fair few people have done it as there are a lof of gts' with gtr front ends out there.

So long as you don't weaken it too much it should be alright however it won't be legal. Maybe weld some supports in there after you cut the section out you need.

But I just took of my bumper and had a close look at my r32 gtst reo bar and the passenger side is bent in..

Spewing.. Looks likes its been in a slight crash? :(

Wondered why my indicator stuck out a bit more..

Don't cut the reo mate, they are too rare uncut these days and are worth about $100, if you can hang out I've got a 32 GTR arriving in 3 months and ill do a straight swap.

Please dont cut it they are so hard to find uncut.

Rather than weaken it completely, you could simply remove it...

If someone would make a cooler that bolts to the intrusion holes it would be stronger than the intrusion bar. ;)

and then you plan to bolt your front bumper bar to what?
