Very nice car mate, great mods on there... i think i spotted you yesterday morning on newcastle road?

Just curious when this was imported and if you have any papers to go with it?

Thanks mate, it may have been me.

I've owned the car for 5 years now and bought it from a member of the forums who had imported it but needed to sell it for capital towards his business.

Bascially he imported it, had it complied and then sold it to me without really owning it for long.

So unfortunately I don't have the original import papers or documentation.

Car has been trouble free for the duration I've owned it, with regular maintenance and the only major changes I made were the addtion of the rims which I imported new directly from Nismo Japan and (385mm front) brake rotors and smaller rears to match.

Sounds good.

More curious atm... seems like a great buy if its in similar condition to mine which has a little less kms, probably looking to get mine to something like this... would love to buy it and mix and match parts then sell one off in stock form etc... but funds dont really allow it atm but may know some ppl who would be interested....

Cheers

Some more info and pics:

I'm the first owner of this 1999 R34 GTR Vspec for the last 5 years since it was imported. Always garaged and regularly serviced every 5,000kms, the strengthened N1 engine has travelled a mere 53,000kms.

Selling as I no longer have the time to enjoy such an iconic driver’s car, but the limited time I drive the car, it never fails to bring a smile from the experience.

Making approximately 300kw at all four wheels, it is perfectly suitable as a daily driver or track car.

Majority of modifications carried out prior to arrival in Australia, I have only added the wheels (imported new directly from Nismo Japan), brakes and other minor items to enhance the look and feel of the car.

Happy for prospective buyers to carry out any third party inspections, car interior and exterior is in excellent condition and a definite head turner with the rare Nismo wheels contrasting the black paintwork.

I’m in no rush to sell the car and although the price is negotiable, lowball offers will be ignored. Interstate buyers welcome.

Few other mods and inclusions not mentioned in the first post:

Apexi Exhaust Control Valve

HKS Circle Earth Kit

Yellow Jacket Coils

BA 5000 383mm F & Slotted R Rotors

Factory HID Xenon Headlights
Factory Floormats
Pioneer Bluetooth Stereo

    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
    • Thanks for coming back to post the update, maybe it will help out the next person!
    • Going by the intake & injectors I'd be guessing it's a DE, check the head casting number, should be 5L8 on a DET, 5L7 I think is the DE number.
