hoping for 8.5c/r, or slightly higher,

, going to tidy up the head, also now have good dumps and front pipe, zorst is a 3.3/4" all the way to the rear, tho probly going to go side pipes for this

im also trying to find a good excuse for cams for a sweet rb26 idle ,

also a good tune is in order, as i think my old tune was sweet top end tho nothing to get it there,

if you want a sweet idle just pull timing at idle. dont use high duration cams. especially with -7s

Also should be aiming for closer 9:1 comp to aid response

Cam gears are a must. I run a set of Tomei Pon Cams Type B. Give a nice sounding idle and bring the -5's on nice and early

Can guarantee they will come in earlier with smaller cams

No problems with boost with the -5's and Type B's for me. Was a healthy 345KW before I started the rebuild.

Just because its healthy doesn't mean it's ideal.. Especially when big dollars are spent on after market rubbish when standard did the job.

345kw can easily be made with -9s, and they ll come on noticeably earlier then -5s

since it has been a killer to find a stock crank iv allmost layed down my hard $$ for a strocker, tho realy couldent convince my self the 5k+ for it, id rather 5k for a dog box, then a strocker,

You're buying pistons and rods, (and in your case another 2.6 L crank, then paying for it to be screwed together anyway. What's a little more for a bigger crank? It really is a no brainer.

At this stage it wouldn't cost you much more to use a 30 bottom end. At least they come with a crank

The extra cost to make a 30 block work in a bnr32 would allmost be more then the stroker, from what iv come across, And wanting to keep 26,

30 Block lifts the head 35mm so the turbos are sitting higher - run into a lot of Fab work to get it setup.
