Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka Prefecture, (Headquarters: Tsurumi, Yokohama president Miyatani Shoichi) The NISMO to be the first time in two years, and 16th on Sunday, December 01, 2013 will be held FESTIVAL.

For the office building relocation, inaugural since 1997, we received a rest for the first time last year, it will be held for the first time in two years this year, Prepare try to events which you could enjoy to our customers than ever I am promoting.

The beginning of the GT500 specification in 2014 it is unveiled in the fifth SUPER GT Round the "Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500", from race car latest, good old race car, etc. of various categories, can get a close look at the Racing DNA of Nissan we are considering a plan that could.

In addition, to be able to experience the charm of motor sports, we are planning a lot of events such as Fureaeru familiar with the director and driver. Please come by all means with your family and friends.

Tickets will be released fall. I will continue from time to time inform (scheduled to begin mid-September) NISMO FESTIVAL official site as soon as it is decided the details of the event.

Accommodation for Fuji best place is Gotemba as about 20 mins by shuttle bus to the track and by car about 15mins.

All types of accommodation depending on budget. Easy to get from Tokyo to Gotemba by train.

I'm thinking of setting up a quick tour package and running a shuttle van from Tokyo via Gotemba to the track.

Tsukuba..aka s#$t hole you can get good business hotels for quite reasonable price or drive from Tokyo as takes about 1 hr.

I'm heading back to Japan for business and Janese F1 and work on my house soon and will be having talks with Nismo and few other companies re setting a possible tour. Anyone needing help with accommo let me know as am member on Japanese accomodation companies and can get good prices.

Also will be buying up tickets for pit walks, track bus drives etc as they usually go on sale in Japan only first Sunday and November and they sell out like hot cakes so whatever I get my hands on it will be a first come first serve basis.

Anyone interested in a tour group let me know what you would be interested in seeing and doing and I'll see what I can put together.

Basically I'll book all accommo, transport and pick up and drop off at the airport, drive to and fro to wherever e.g workshops, auto part shops and all anyone has to do is book flight tickets but I'm having a chat to Jetstar re a group booking.

Also can sort any parts people may want to purchase and help with sending back to Oz.

if you did a tour covering

access to nismo festival & accomodation near by, access to tsukba superlap & accomodation nearby, workshop tours etc ill be keen

as i am planning - arrive a few days before prior to the event hang out in tokyo - sight see, hire a GTR and head up to gotemba attend festival, travel south of tokyo, kyoto, mt fuji, sight seeing etc and return for superlap. then spend another week sight seeing.

I would suggest putting away pennies now if you are keen. Definitely a worthy experience, especially when most of the leg work is being done for you along with access to places the tourist wouldn't normally get.

Are you selling tickets separately or only as part of the accomodation package? If separately how much do you want for them? Edited by *LOACH*

Roach you can grab them online and then purchase at Lawson.

Tickets usually go on sale first Sunday in November and all the special tickets like track walk, track drive etc go within the first 15-30mins.

General admin tickets can be bought anytime and can be purchased on the day at Fuji.

Nismo have not updated any info yet but probably full program will be out at end of the month.

    • Yup. You can get creative and make a sort of "bracket" with cable ties. Put 2 around the sender with a third passing underneath them strapped down against the sender. Then that third one is able to be passed through some hole at right angles to the orientation of the sender. Or some variation on the theme. Yes.... ummm, with caveats? I mean, the sender is BSP and you would likely have AN stuff on the hose, so yes, there would be the adapter you mention. But the block end will either be 1/8 NPT if that thread is still OK in there, or you can drill and tap it out to 1/4 BSP or NPT and use appropriate adapter there. As it stands, your mention of 1/8 BSPT male seems... wrong for the 1/8 NPT female it has to go into. The hose will be better, because even with the bush, the mass of the sender will be "hanging" off a hard threaded connection and will add some stress/strain to that. It might fail in the future. The hose eliminates almost all such risk - but adds in several more threaded connections to leak from! It really should be tapered, but it looks very long in that photo with no taper visible. If you have it in hand you should be able to see if it tapered or not. There technically is no possibility of a mechanical seal with a parallel male in a parallel female, so it is hard to believe that it is parallel male, but weirder things have happened. Maybe it's meant to seat on some surface when screwed in on the original installation? Anyway, at that thread size, parallel in parallel, with tape and goop, will seal just fine.
    • How do you propose I cable tie this: To something securely? Is it really just a case of finding a couple of holes and ziptying it there so it never goes flying or starts dangling around, more or less? Then run a 1/8 BSP Female to [hose adapter of choice?/AN?] and then the opposing fitting at the bush-into-oil-block end? being the hose-into-realistically likely a 1/8 BSPT male) Is this going to provide any real benefit over using a stainless/steel 1/4 to 1/8 BSPT reducing bush? I am making the assumption the OEM sender is BSPT not BSPP/BSP
    • I fashioned a ramp out of a couple of pieces of 140x35 lumber, to get the bumper up slightly, and then one of these is what I use
    • I wouldn't worry about dissimilar metal corrosion, should you just buy/make a steel replacement. There will be thread tape and sealant compound between the metals. The few little spots where they touch each other will be deep inside the joint, unable to get wet. And the alloy block is much much larger than a small steel fitting, so there is plenty of "sacrificial" capacity there. Any bush you put in there will be dissimilar anyway. Either steel or brass. Maybe stainless. All of them are different to the other parts in the chain. But what I said above still applies.
    • You are all good then, I didn't realise the port was in a part you can (have!) remove. Just pull the broken part out, clean it and the threads should be fine. Yes, the whole point about remote mounting is it takes almost all of the vibration out via the flexible hose. You just need a convenient chassis point and a cable tie or 3.
