Bought eclipse apartment with stimulus...shit is pimping and exactly how I would like a real life apartment/penthouse. But...online seems a little less fun now. I was really looking forward to saving up for something like this rather than just being given it, and now any noob who has played in October can get the same thing. Still against the stimulus.

anyone changed their plates on the iFruit app? I've changed mine but they are still the same as they were before.

basically the only reason I got the app. The chop stuff is annoying, The dog always wants something, f**k!

yeah only shows up for single player tho....or well does for me

That's kinda weird then..... Seen as the online player is 'me' and the story mode players are actualy characters. Seems weird that my plate is on other peoples cars lol

Anyway, maybe its glitch they will fix in a patch.

Agree a bit that the Stimulus has kinda ruined online. I was saving for a $200,000 apartment, was nearly there. Then got the money, bought a more expensive one and a boat. Now theres a big gap before I can buy planes etc, but I can buy pretty much everything else. So not sure Rockstar have made the right decision there. Even though I like the Bitchin apartment.

Started playing new COD. But so far it's not amazing

In one day

lol ^

Sick of that f**king pic but, makes me think of that song. Annoying. Posted every 2 seconds on facebook at one stage

Yeah I play Squads on COD with a team full of players vs AI while I'm getting used to the maps. Had 1 go of multiplayer when I started and got owned. Coming from BO2 where i was getting K:D ratio's always above 1 it wasnt real good

anyway, wont turn this into a COD thread.

Struggled with one of Martin's missions the other week, (Death from above). Could not pass it by myself. Then played again the other day, got 2 other people involved and pretty much did the mission myself anyway. Maybe I just needed some decoys lol

haha yeah the resource managers...

Still reckon GTA3 and Vice City had best radios overall. Talk shows were hilarious. Lazlo isnt funny anymore :(

Havent been online much, spent a week or two finishing singleplayer and then got into Path Of Exile. Hopefully be on this week to spend ma monies (sub $300k 10 car garage apartment)

The hand sanitizer ad is brilliant.

I'm waiting for the 'Give Cash' option to re-activated. I haz alot of cash and i was happy to share :)

Oh and try the LS DMV driving test.

Sorry AGE, Didn't understand what you wanted to do in that race for a min, then I got the idea lol. Might have to turn volume up for voice on mine, hard to hear

Oh and I have no mic, but you probably guessed that anyway ;)

Just waiting on approval to get in on this crew stuff. :whistling:

And I think it's crazy they gave everyone so much cash. But I'm not complaining. The eclipse apartment is unreal.

Also if you are missing or can't find the R35 style car go to your garage. Press the right arrow and you should be able to select it.

I was trying to stop anyone there so he could get the high priority vehicle to simieon. For some reason it didnt happen

Assualt riffle is excellent

Base invaders - "We'll get it this time" lol

Pain in the ass mission. Glad we got it done

All good.

On the race around the prison, Turn everything on...wanted level, traffic and the like. Set the laps to about 4-5, and then everylap just make sure that you do a quicker lap than the last....so on the first lap make a .50sec lap and then just beat it, but not by much that way you can do a super doooper flying last lap.

The choice of car/motorbike dosen't matter, but i find Muscle car the most fun.

With that 1 race you should be able to level up easy.

4th in the crew come at me

Just realised last night that you can level up about 20 times quicker doing missions than you can killing randoms and escaping cops in freemode. Might do more of those!

you can level even quicker by doing races apparently mate! i will get back on. prob week nights next week.

Agreed. We should set a day n time for everyone to be on and go wild! Missions, survival, races, free rome and demolish everyone that's on. Good for crew rep as well I guess

This

we need to get more crew races and crew missions, crew survivals are great for cash too.

And this

But just wait till km home from work o. Wednesday :P

    • Did this end up working? Did you take some pictures?
    • And finally, the front lower mount. It was doubly weird. Firstly, the lower mount is held in with a bracket that has 3 bolts (it also acts as the steering lock stop), and then a nut on the shock lower mount itself. So, remove the 3x 14mm head bolts , then the 17mm nut that holds the shock in. From there, you can't actually remove the shock from the lower mount bolt (took me a while to work that out....) Sadly I don't have a pic of the other side, but the swaybar mounts to the same bolt that holds the shock in. You need to push that swaybar mount/bolt back so the shock can be pulled out past the lower control arm.  In this pic you can see the bolt partly pushed back, but it had to go further than that to release the shock. Once the shock is out, putting the new one in is "reverse of disassembly". Put the top of the shock through at least one hole and put a nut on loosely to hold it in place. Put the lower end in place and push the swaybar mount / shock bolt back in place, then loosely attach the other 2 top nuts. Bolt the bracket back in place with the 14mm head bolts and finally put the nut onto the lower bolt. Done....you have new suspension on your v37!
    • And now to the front.  No pics of the 3 nuts holding the front struts on, they are easy to spot. Undo 2 and leave the closest one on loosely. Underneath we have to deal with the wiring again, but this time its worse because the plug is behind the guard liner. You'll have to decide how much of the guard liner to remove, I undid the lower liner's top, inside and lower clips, but didn't pull it full off the guard. Same issue undoing the plug as at the rear, you need to firmly push the release clip from below while equally firmly gripping the plug body and pulling it out of  the socket. I used my fancy electrical disconnect pliers to get in there There is also one clip for the wiring, unlike at the rear I could not get behind it so just had to lever it up and out.....not in great condition to re-use in future.
    • Onto the rear lower shock mount. It's worth starting with a decent degrease to remove 10+ years of road grime, and perhaps also spray a penetrating oil on the shock lower nut. Don't forget to include the shock wiring and plug in the clean.... Deal with the wiring first; you need to release 2 clips where the wiring goes into the bracket (use long nose pliers behind the bracket to compress the clip so you can reuse it), and the rubber mount slides out, then release the plug.  I found it very hard to unplug, from underneath you can compress the tab with a screwdriver or similar, and gently but firmly pull the plug out of the socket (regular pliers may help but don't put too much pressure on the plastic. The lower mount is straightforward, 17mm nut and you can pull the shock out. As I wasn't putting a standard shock back in, I gave the car side wiring socket a generous gob of dialectric grease to keep crap out in the future. Putting the new shock in is straightforward, feed it into at least 1 of the bolt holes at the top and reach around to put a nut on it to hold it up. Then put on the other 2 top nuts loosely and put the shock onto the lower mounting bolt (you may need to lift the hub a little if the new shock is shorter). Tighten the lower nut and 3 upper nuts and you are done. In my case the BC Racing shocks came assembled for the fronts, but the rears needed to re-use the factory strut tops. For that you need spring compressors to take the pressure off the top nut (they are compressed enough when the spring can move between the top and bottom spring seats. Then a 17mm ring spanner to undo the nut while using an 8mm open spanner to stop the shaft turning (or, if you are really lucky you might get it off with a rattle gun).
    • You will now be able to lift the parcel shelf trim enough to get to the shock cover bolts; if you need to full remove the parcel shelf trim for some reason you also remove the escutcheons around the rear seat release and you will have to unplug the high stop light wiring from the boot. Next up is removal of the bracket; 6 nuts and a bolt Good news, you've finally got to the strut top! Remove the dust cover and the 3 shock mount nuts (perhaps leave 1 on lightly for now....) Same on the other side, but easier now you've done it all before
