Help: Blue Slip For R32

hi guys,

I took my car today to get a blue slip, everything was good however the guy was asking about an import plate or something like that?

I've looked everywhere for one and could't find any!!

From the rsearch i've done so far all the r32 don't have one.

My question is

Do i need to get an import plate for it to get it registered?

any help would be appreciated

i believe these days it just a purple sticker usually found in the engine bay

Depends on which import scheme the car was brought in under. The 32's that made it through the old 15 year rule will only have a additional plate with the Australian VIN number. (do a search on here if you want a bit more info)

Sticker is also permitted on the B-pillar.

Yes there is a thin plate with aus vin no mounted next to the Battery on the right hand side wheel arch!!

And it was imported under the 15yr old rules!!

I'm going there again on Monday and hopefully it's going to be okay!
