Philr32
Hi everyone, just looking for some options in regards to a low mount manifold. Not sure if the turbo will be T3 or T4, definitely external gate. Something with nice short runners. I've googled around a bit, but unless I want an eBay cheapo then it seems everything is top mount. Any help would be great, cheers. Ben C34
The one that fits that description, and proven to work, and heaps cheap, and you probably have one is..... a stock one. Philr32
Stick with stock. Too restrictive and uneven runner lengths Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442851-low-mount-manifold-options/#findComment-7276716 Share on other sites

scotty nm35
If the standard ones are fine then why does anyone upgrade? Because they get sold bolt on crap that doesn't fit, by people that profit from it. Can you give us some idea of your projected power dreams? 89CAL
On a side note. I have a Hypergear SS2 which is just about as large as you can go with a low mount. I was awful close to hitting the engine mount bracket with mine, so keep that in mind Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442851-low-mount-manifold-options/#findComment-7276732 Share on other sites

scotty nm35
Nothing crazy, 300-350rwkw Stock. Has been proven to over 430rwkw by me so far, with a simple external gate off the turbo housing. More important than the manifold... Which fuel will you be running? PN-Mad
Split T4 flange though, correct? Yup, but common for them to be re-drilled/tapped to t3. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442851-low-mount-manifold-options/#findComment-7276738 Share on other sites
