Hi,

I am wanting to sell my Nismo GT500 engine block.

I have absolutely no use at all for it and I have NFI why I bought it.

It is brand new, I bought it from a workshop in Japan. It does not have it's original box but it does have the information sheet with its packaging.

People with knowledge of Nismo parts will appreciate the rarity of such an item and are the finest rb engine available on the market - hence the price!

Price is $10,000 FIRM, no offers.

Cash on pick up only, I am not too keen on sending this interstate because of it's value. However, if the buyer wants to organise their own courier to collect it from me than that will be fine but you will be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transport. You will pay me $50 to put it on a pallet, wrap it and tie it down to prevent it from moving around. Funds must be cleared into my bank account prior to pick up and I am not going to take paypal!

Located on the Gold Coast

I am only going to take one picture of the engine block, if you're curious to see what an engine block looks like then use google. I am hoping this will save any dreamers wanting to add pictures of their collection. It is a brand new and GENUINE RRR block, if you ask for any more pictures I will ignore you.

And no, you cannot come over to take a look.

Sorry for sounding like a flamin mongrel but I don't want to be f**ked around with this thing.

Thanks :)

EDIT: Please note that I am physically away from the engine between 01.12 to 08.12 with work but can still reply to any questions.

Because the market is totally flooded with fake Chinese made RRR blocks isn't it...

I didn't just join up today to post this did I. Everyone that's dealt with my over the years on this forum would vouch for my honesty.

I've posted up a pic of the block and it's a genuine rrr block.

Take it or leave it :)

Last 2 GT500 RRR blocks that sold on SAU had no pictures in the FS - just sayin

(neither of the previous sellers got heckled)

I suppose if you own a genuine one you don't feel you need to prove it in pictures to everyone else. Just the guy with the cash.

I expect a genuine buyer will check it out thoroughly prior to handing cash over or they're an idiot.

This seller has a 100% positive trader rating, so far !

I'll admit I'd like to see pics from every angle as I'll never own one :/

Don't see why it's so hard to post pics or a huge ask if you're selling 10k worth of engine

Ill swap you, post a picture of your bank account with 10k in it and ill put another picture up of the block.

Lol

How is asking someone I better pic heckling? I asked for pics on the other rrr block and got told no. I don't really think it's to much to ask for.

Hi Jim im the clown with the other rrr block for sale you requested a photo of , I replied and asked what on the block did you want a photo of? You flipped it, people post things in the for sale section to sell, I was more than happy to send you a photo hence why I asked WHAT ON THE BLOCK DID YOU WANT A PHOTO.

    • I read this and thought "ah! I will do this scissor jack on the tow point thing!" I just use my floor/low profile/costco jack and lift the car up by the tow hook itself, then slide jack stands under. Never thought about using scissor into floor jack combo :p
    • Well, my new WMI system took much longer to finalize. I actually missed my dyno appointment last Friday and lost my 150$ deposit. I'll be going back in the next week or two.  To sum it up. I only kept the AEM tank from my old setup. I replaced the AEM pump with a higher flow/pressure ProMeth 30GPH pump. I also swapped over to a 6AN low pressure feed line to the pump from the tank. There's also a pressure switch you cannot see on the pump high pressure line.    This is feeding 6x 200CC direct port nozzles and 1x 500CC Pre Throttle body nozzle. All fittings are Swagelok, because well why not. I also have a 300PSI pressure sensor up front.    I now have my Haltech ECU controlling everything. I start my pump with a basic relay at 5PSI and deadhead it. I then PWM a 3000CC methanol Injector to control flow starting around 10psi. The pressure switch in the trunk, along with my tank level are safeties before I ever get to 10PSI, and then I use my pressure sensor upfront as a secondary safety to cut the WMI and corrections in case the injector blocks or a line ruptures.  Wish me luck on the dyno!
    • So, I'm back with bad news. There's no jack long enough on this planet that will reach the front subframe. If by some chance there is, it would weigh 200lb's.  I purchased a long reach jack... The damn thing weighted 120lb's and was massive. Didn't even come close, was still short at least a foot. It was a pain, but I brought it back. Next I decided HA! No problem, I'll get an Extra long reach jack. Well, I couldn't lift the box... It must have weighed 160LB's and luckily there was an open box in store. I took measurement and was still nowhere close.  Sadly I've lost hope and have accepted defeat.
    • Thanks for that tip, niZmO_Man. I think the battery is OK. It's quite a new one, but I'll check. Last time I needed a new battery, everything electronic was fine, except that there wasn't enough current to turn over the starter. I decided to order one of the partial AV system translation CDs from Car Audio Workshop in NZ. That might have some effect, or help me diagnose the date problem. 🤞
    • I suppose it was relatively stock too, the JZ motor handle most mods thrown at them without even breaking a sweat
