PaulReeves.com - GPOWER.TV
Registered or not in SA makes no difference when selling. It's only when transferring rego from another state The fact is your car snuck through without meeting the proper ADR requirements. That's not SA's fault. Yes indeed. How the car got passed a Roadworthy Inspection for 1st Rego in QLD beats me! Because not pasting the 'Import Approval Sticker' on, the importer can face a fine from the Aus Gov! Oh and yes that is right. The bike I bought in VIC was previously registered in SA. I only had to visit the Service SA office to get it rego'd again. Even though it would have failed for sure because of non ADR stuff that was aftermarket!!! PaulReeves.com - GPOWER.TV
When I can get it rego'd in another state for the same price with HID's still intact.cannot, its an ADR rule, Australia Wide & is done on all imports, just part of importing a jap car unfortunately. Posted Today, 02:21 PM That's why it is VERY IMPORTANT to have a close friend who does Blue, Pink Slips & Removes Defects in your state! It's not just me, I know a HSV Clubsport-VT running a Stage 2 Cam that is registered. Only because of him knowing that person who does inspections for him, can he drive it on drive days with the club like Historic Rego in a way Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/454674-engineers-report-for-coil-overs-sa-rego/page/3/#findComment-7522069 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
What are the strict VIC rules that you hate & others? They limit mods to the intake system to a certain number for example. It's 1 or 2. Not based on what those mods do...just the count of them. There's all sorts of similar silliness. If you got nothing out of Vehicle Standards via e-mail, there's always the phone or going down there for a chat. I suspect they get hundreds of useless e-mails every day! 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/454674-engineers-report-for-coil-overs-sa-rego/page/3/#findComment-7522176 Share on other sites
