whoops, wrong link. what i was referring to:

I grabbed a couple of brochures because there are so many optional extras for Y34 and you just never know what was available. it also confirmed a few items I had were genuine factory fitted or even dealership fitted. And cause im a top bloke, I scan them and share them with others for when they are trawling the auction houses for an example they want.

I just wish they were allowed at events that I attend... Current they're not allowed at CAMS Events, which sucks...

You could use it to capture your mates breaking bones on super motos though.

Don't see how they could stop you, sit outside the gates and fly it over into sandown and start filming some cars dont get too close and i'm sure no one will stop ya? or sit in the carpark and fly it over lol

Drone's, not GoPros.

Actually it looks like they've now updated their UAV policy (as of February 2016)... but you need to have Civil Aviation Safety Authority certification and 10M Public Liability Insurance.... Yeah, rightio mate...

Noone but commercial aerial photography companies are going to have that...

In the past, CAMS insurance would not cover the event if the incident was caused by a UAV... so if there is an unapproved UAV flying around, the smartest move that the Clark of Course could do is stop racing until the UAV is removed. If a driver gets distracted by a drone over the track and misses his braking marker... then goodbye event coverage.

Would make some mad content though, I'll fly it to sandown from my house just to cancel your event :)

Although they only last for like 20 mins, jokes on me :(

it's a disrupter so it blocks signals...drone goes away

Yep, Detects, Tracks, Alerts, and if set it can also bombard the unit with frequencies which will cause it to lose control and crash. (Lots of drones these days have built in defence against confusing signals, and will revert to a hover or return to base).Either way, it's stopped in its tracks.

I'm pretty sure if you are actively using a Blighter AUDS, then breaching the CASA or CAMS policies is going to be the least of your legal issues.

Young cop: One long continuous breath etc.

Alright you can go when these cars are clear...*pause* you done any mods to it?

Me: Uh stereo, wheels, lowered it a bit...

Cop: Ah right. Any performance mods or a work in progress?

Me: Nah...not worth it. Not with you guys watching. *smile*

Cop: *laughs*

Me: *drives off sweating*

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
