Just bought a R33 and never been to one of these events. Worth coming down just to spectate?

Motorkhana/Texikhana is the cheapest form of motorsport you can do in your own car. In addition to the event fee you will also need CAMS or AASA license. AASA is the cheaper option.

Honestly, we pride ourselves on being first timer friendly. Come and enjoy the company and rides or come to compete. The competition is friendly and lots of us are more than willing to give you some pointers.

yeah, all first timers talk to the Asian dude with the American Accent. He runs around like a headless chook at the start but when stuff calms down, he knows his shit + will help anyone he can

Hi guys - how many entrants can this take? After binning the R32 GTR, I'm working on something new that would be perfect for Texi, but won't know until a couple of weeks before the event.

is there only 14 spots available for this event? Or is there more

We have more spots, we will announce if the spots are getting close to being filled, but we are a long way from that yet!

  • 2 weeks later...

Heads up guys, we're going to be looking closely at results for picking SAU NSW team members for Nulon Nats next year!!

Consider this part of the audition process!!!

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
