Ok guys, round 4 is almost upon us and it's a very tight race! We have retained most of the team from last year and are fortunate enough that we have a lineup full of Cootamundra veterans!

This is a really awesome event and we would like to extend a massive thankyou to Nulon for allowing us to take part!

Please get behind the team here and head down for support!

Current standings are as follows:

More info can be found on the Nulon Nats Facebook page, please head over and LIKE! :)

Team listing is as follows. Of course being Nissans and with GTRs this lineup is subject to change!

If the results are anything like last year, we are in for a very close series, the top 20 cars that have already entered have run 10s or better and i have heard rumors of a few 9 second evos driving to the event to stir things up.

  • 1 month later...

We won round 4 and the series without bonus points. RTDC won the series by about 20points with bonus points.

I think the drag team came 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th and 8th (I was 8th and pretty disappointed not to run a 10)

well congrats to RTDC on taking out the championship then, I take it the bonus points relate to their choice to keep the same cars round to round which seems fair to me

Also I think SAU should be proud of coming home second, we had great involvement across a lot of club members, and I bet everyone enjoyed the events. And considering there are 10 clubs competing across 4 rounds I reckon it is a pretty serious competition so 2nd is great outcome.

And finally, well done to Nulon for creating and sticking with this concept....everyone go out and buy their oils!!!

To have 5 cars in the top 10 is a massive accomplishment

guess sau will have to run a round next year and cheat by giving time penalties to cars that didnt get any.. ya know cause in the spirit of keeping things even

When did this happen?

Agreed, awesome work buy the all the guys who competed this year. There were a lot of people gunning for SAU and to only miss out by 20 points is something to be proud of

    • I did basically the same procedure on a ZF6HP but the reason to pull the valve body is to replace the seals between the valve body and the transmission which are notorious for leaking pressure with age causing poor shifting and burning out the clutches. If you just wanted to exchange all the fluid you should be able to undo one of the transmission cooler return lines to drain into a bucket while using the pressure filler to keep it topped off.
    • The title should have posted "EFR7670 exhaust housing selection RB26" I can seem to edit thr title on my Android.
    • I'm looking for some real world experiences/feed back from anyone who has personally ran a EFR7670 with a 1.05 exhaust housing or a .83 I'm leaning towards the .83 because its a street car used mostly for spirited driving in the canyons roads. I"m not looking for big numbers on paper. I want a responsive powerband that will be very linear to 8000 rpm. I dont mind if power remains somewhat flat but dont want power to drop off on top. The turbo I've purchased is a 1.05, although the mounting flange T3 vs T4 and internal vs external waste gates are different on both housings, I not concern about swapping parts or making fabrication mods to get what I want. Based on some of the research I've done with chat gpt, the 1.05 housing seems to be the way to go with slightly more lag and future proofing for more mods but recommends .83 for best response/street car setup. AI doesn't have the same emotions as real people driving a GTR so I think you guys will be able to give me better feed back 😀
    • Surely somebody has one in VIC. Have you asked at any shops?  Is this the yearly inspection or did you get a canary?
