My 2nd problem if anyone can help

Me the turbo I've brought is a straight bolt

Up to factory manifold with some hot side piping adjustment but the standed r33 turbo waste gate actuator has a vac line running to it but the new turbo I've got the actuator just has a line running off to the side intake of the turbo so what do I do ? Please help thank you

Me being a new guy to this forum (learning as I go, a few parts behind you). Your parts list looks fine. Use the turbo upgrade thread to compare parts/power outputs etc.

Basic mods lists have been asked a thousand times on this forum, so just make sure you do your research although i do understand myself being a new guy it's good to have confirmation from others.

Injectors may be the only thing i'd take more of a look at depending on the PSI pressure you'll run. Additionally you'll want to know the spec of the fuel pump so you're aware of what it can/can't handle.

Also maybe replace the manual boost tee with an EBC for higher boost? Others may be able to clarify a bit more on that one.

As for the turbo Q, can't help as I have an R34 and so far that's as far as my knowledge goes! Best of luck.

Post a pic of the turbo? If there is no actuator on it, it may be externally waste-gated.

My only suggestion is to sell the PowerFC and have a Nistune installed, probably cost around the same but you will have the ability to run a flex sensor/E85 down the track.

I think he's asking more about how he hooks up the wastegate control signal. When I saw this thread several days ago I couldn't be bothered with trying to read through the mush of that last sentence.

Perhaps some clarification of the exact meaning of the OP is required.

Thanks for your help guys already yes it's a cheap China turbo how do I upload a photo ? Yes it's a just a internal gate with the acuator on the front the problem is the acuator has a line running off it back into the turbo so where do I hook up the vac line to? And with the fuel pressure on the add they say at stock fuel pressure you can support upto 600hp more than I'm wanting! And yes have already brought tein coilovers are stock gtst brakes bad ? Thanks

Run vacuum hose between the barb fitting on the turbo front cover and the actuator barb fitting. Just post a link to the turbo you actually bought....if its 430hp on there my money is on it being a t3/t4 thing.

Do yourself a favour and get rid of that China Racing Development turbo, either flog it off to someone on Drift Sales or throw it into the bin...

that's the best advise I can honestly give you without being a total karnt.

That is the turbo yes guys I know it's not the best I don't drive the car on a daily basis or anything it's just to get me going for the next 6-12 months till I've got the money for something nice! And thanks smithbro! So just run a T piece on that hose ?

No T piece required. Block off the original vacuum hose that fed the factory actuator. Plumb the piping exactly as the picture in your link shows.

As stated China turbos aren't the best. But they do still work to a certain extent....I wouldn't be pushing it upto 20+ psi as per the ebay specs though.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
