I got the car with no air con when I bought it, after stripping the engine bay for a respray I sourced all the AC parts to install back in,

Now it has a PWR radiator with a custom shroud and spal thermo, which I just found out, is been powered by the AC fan wiring, so now I have to power source for the AC fan...

I was thinking of using the AC fan cable as per factory, but then I'm stuck with a thermo fan with no power

How do I go about wiring the thermo fan to a relay of some sort and back to the ecu (the thermo currently is been activated by the ecu, not a temperature sensor on the bottom of the radiator)

If anyone has a diagram or can point me in the right direction to get this wired up that would be great

I forget off the top of my head, but i had twins with a thermo switch run through a relay with a switch too.

The thermo switch would activate it automatically while the switch was a fail safe and also useful for the drags etc.

This is a crude way of installing thermos. but was temporary till i got the computer to control them.

If you like i can go and double check the wiring for you. But there are also PLENTY of diagrams with thermo switches and relays all over the net.

Better to get a fan controller and have the fan run at half or 2/3 full speed when the A/C is triggered, then when the water temp goes past x amount, kick off the fan in full speed.

He has 1x massive SPAL fan, which is more than sufficient. Running an OEM front overheat fan then with a massive high flowing Spal fan behind sucking air is kind of counter intuitive
