Had a good time

First run on a 1/4 ever i got [email protected] 2.188 60ft!

Next few runs were bad 60ft times.. out of 8 runs only 2 were less than 2.3, not sure what i changed but it definately affected my 60ft. Worst 60ft was 2.508 which i got twice! Best et was 4th run i think, 13.878 @ 102.93 2.206 60ft. thought i had 13.7 :)

Good nite though, cant wait to give it another go, i was really suprised to see how much changing little things affects your times, i did a burnout and got a worse 60ft than i did before, upping boost made 60ft times worse, but more mid/top end. Guess the more playing around the better u get

I found an error on one of my time slips too, on the 13.9 run the other person got 14.599 and for margin it says 1.088 ?

2.998!

O M G ...

Ha! call that a 60ft time?? I've had a 6.59 you pussies

Tonight my best were 2.097,2.082 and 2.029 got no top end though best I could do was 13.8 at 100.27mph and 13.9 at 104....good enough to win 5 out of 8 runs though 2 of the losses went to a 10.9 at 130mph and a 14.09 at 126mph.

Got myself a rotary too + Holden ute and a commidor

Fairly average night topped off by collecting a $150 fine ...89 in a 70 zone.

After cruising all the way home just under the limits I had a momentary lapse of attention.....at the end of the Centenary Hwy....of all places....it really pissed me off!!!

Nice to see you guys out there. knore seems to have got off to a good start :)

Addit: I got track slicks....but I got no squat

Shyyt! I was lucky then, i was following MJ and the rest of the lines when i realised my bonnet was popped! so i pulled over closed it and made haste to catch up

Hey matt, can u post up the details for that 14 flat run i did, i didnt end up collecting the time slip cause i went through the pile like 3 times and couldnt find it

Im still trying to figure out why nearly all my 60ft's were 2.4+, I wasnt getting wheelspin, the only thing i can think of on my 2 13 runs were i got to stage first and wasnt rushed, so i must have got the stall just right. I tried using the handbrake on one, but it broke traction when i released which gave me a 14.5

After last nite i kinda want a stall converter, cos i just couldnt stall high enough, on one of my races i was against a 180sx, he got a 12.88 with a 1.766 60ft!!

If we could get a 1.766 then imagine the ET ;)

Is your car an auto Knore?

Yes, thats where the problem is

Everything else is fine, i just cant load up enough power at the start

Im thinking about going on a full tank next time, so i can stall higher without the wheels spinning. Whats affecting my 60ft is that few seconds on 2.5L power (or lack of i should say) before the turbo hits. If i can cut that out, 2.0 60ft should be obtainable and good for some mid 13s

I tried stalling higher, but the wheels started spinning on the starting line

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
