Yes, you can get whatever hose length's you need, and it comes as one length. However the price may change if your changing hose lengths. The prices at the start of the thread are based on either 2.5m of hose for a drivers side mount (also in front of radiator mounting) or 3.5m of hose for a passenger front mount. These lengths have been tested fine by others who have bought one.

If/when you order just make us aware of exactly what lengths you want.

when do you need the cash by dude?

R32 GTST RB20DET (GTR kit will fit im assuming...) mounted in driver side of the front bar...

im assuming for the remote filter... it wont fit an SR20DET later on down the track?

Great looks like we have 3 people in this next group buy.

pitchd:

Hold onto your hard earned dollars until we have five confirmed.

The remote filter setup for a R32GTST should be trasferable to the SR20 at a later stage, as the sandwich plate is the same.

Usual shipping is about $20, but yours will probably be about $820 shipped, as you will require less hose that the 3.5m quoted for a GTR. You will need about 2.5m which should also be adequate for the SR20

Hey guys was wondering if anyone with a R33 Gts25t (Series 2 front bar) and FMIC full size 600xwatever (not the hybrid cooler design) fitted one of these kits successfully to the driver's side position of the front bar?,

i'm kinda interested but worried that the intercooler piping will get in the way for the ideal position.

any help?

Depends how far your cooler pipes come out the side of your end tanks. Post a photo of your front bar to see if the pipes will get in the way.

Heres the pic, looking at it i think the piping gets in the way unless i try to fit it behind the IC piping, has anyone done that?

=(

Doesn't look like you'll have much space for the cooler inside your lower front bar, and with the intercooler piping in the way. Read back a couple of pages in this thread to see how Al mounted his..

You might be able to mount yours like mine which is not flush with the front side of the car but further back behind the cooler return pipe. But you wont have any air flow back there with your front bar.

Yeah Al mounted his between his radiator and intercooler. It does the job in that position. I have seen a few HKS ones mounted in that position too. I think the N1 GTR's had an factory cooler in that position.

But looking at the pic. I think you would fit it in on a slight angle.

This would be a repost:yesterday's must've gone when we all went offline...

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
    • Perhaps the answer is... more jacks!* *proper jacks must be used.
    • I NEVER think about using a scissor jack unless there is absolutely no other alternative. f**king things are dangerous, annoying and stupid.
