Duel Air Intake on V35

Has any one changed the single air intake to a duel system on a V35 sedan with the 3.5?

If so, how so & what have you used?

Guess you mean Dual, unless swords are involved??

Never heard of anyone doing it, I suspect the benefits would be quite minimal but the effort significant, would require dual MAFs which the stock ECU isn't setup for, so would need an aftermarket ECU.  I suspect trying to get a stock VQ35HR ECU working would be even harder.

Have seen the set up on a V36 & thought, "that looks kinda neat and tidy!", wondering how that would look on my engine.

Wouldn't it give a more even & better air flow to the engine?

That "set up" on the V36 is a stock "set up". VQ35HR and VQ37VHR both have two throttle bodies instead of one on the VQ35DE.

^^  this, it is the factory setup on the V36.

If you are concerned about intake airflow on a VQ35DE, there are several other options which would be easier than trying to retrofit twin intakes from a VQ35HR.

It was just a thought that it could of been another way of getting air into the engine but will keep an open mind on other options.
