Injector connector removal troubles

Hi All,

I'm having issues removing the connectors from my injectors, I was hoping to get some ideas before I consider pulling the inlet manifold off. 

I've got connectors 1, 2 and 6 off. These are the final 3 causing me drama. 

I'm squeezing the connector release as hard as I can but it needs more force then what I can do by hand. 

Should I spray the connector with contact cleaner or is there a tool I can use to get more leverage on the connector?

I was really worried about cracking or damaging the connector doing that, maybe I'll just put my careful hat on and give it a shot.
