Yes! The whispers you've all heard are true!

This year marks SAU NSW's 20th birthday and to celebrate we're hosting a show and shine event at STASH & Leading Edge's facility in Rouse Hill!

This will be our biggest celebratory event to date, so we're looking forward to having you all join us in making this the most memorable and epic event in the history of our club!

 

First of all, here are the details for the event:

Date: Saturday 22nd October 2022

Location: STASH / Leading Edge, 18-20 Mile End Road, Rouse Hill

Start Time: 3.00pm (Gates Open)

End Time: 8.00pm (Gates Close)

Tickets: SAU NSW Members $25 / Non-Members $40 / Spectators $5

While we'll be celebrating our club's impressive age, this was always going to be another event to celebrate all things we all love about Skylines, GTRs and Stageas! So make sure you sign up to save your spot!

But wait, there's more! We'll also have some of our amazing sponsors and industry partners attending too! They'll be joining us too with their own stalls and displays, giving you plenty to explore, discuss, photograph and enjoy. Keen to know who? Well, you'll just have to stay tuned to find out...

Of course that's not all we have in store for our event though. We're going to have a DJ, photographer, videographer, models, coffee & food trucks, prizes, trophies, raffles, show bags, and plenty more! We're not about to spoil any surprises though - you'll just have to keep your eyes peeled on our pages to find out more!

Spots will be limited though - we have a maximum of 80 places available at the venue... So you better be quick to make sure you save your spot for this one!

Didn't catch the prices though? That's an easy fix! General Admission for non-members is $40! SAU NSW members will enjoy a discount, at $25 for entry! Spectator entry will be $5

This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our many track days.

This is an official SAU:NSW event and will be run under a Motorsport Australia permit.

One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general.

When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to:

• Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly.

• Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should.

• Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly.

• Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

It's hard to believe the club has been around 20 years, good on Christian (Prank) in particular, but also Shell, Paul (URMINE), George (two40) for doing the work to get the club off the ground, and to all the committee and club members who have kept it going through good (and bad) times, a lot happens in 20 years

Kel is racing at Great Tarmac Rally that weekend but I'll be coming along, I guess the Stagea needs a wash. I hope you have had some luck digging up old faces (not literally)

Spent half the day washing the stagea so it's not so obviously a farm bitch.

Hopefully there is a category for 400kw, 400,000klm family vehicle, I'm a chance.....

Preference is to be in by/before 3, mainly for photography reasons. What time are you thinking you’ll get there by?

      The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same.       Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
