Asking for a friend who is looking to buy a r34. All the yards we check out mostly carry aus-delivered nissans. Does anyone know where theres a yard that has a few r34 GTTs around, one that will allow us to test drive it?? I tried looking in Search but no actual adresses or names came up to where we could actually find a car yard that stocks them. Any help much appreciated.

you MAY find that some dealers will ask you to sign a contract of sale before they allow you to test-drive their cars.

its bloody annoying, but they need to protect themselves incase you crash their car.... kinda like the phrase: "you break it, you bought it!"

anyway, good luck!

i tried looking on the carsales and carpoint sites and only found one r34 in victoria on offer in melb(that was to our specifications). i will try what has been previously suggested and if you spot some let me know, also interested in car yards with s15s and other nissan imports. Adzmax how much did it cost for your r34 after delivery and compliance? coz that mite be an option also.

lol, yeah good one you fu(ktard! I have never dealt with exotic cars, nor do I care for your opinion. maybe YOU got jibbed? if they were "busted" as you say, why are they still in business?

dont chu believe me ? maybe you buy your car from them ? maybe that is why you got jibbed ? exotic car sales = stolen car.  i check record i see he busted.

R34GTT : Very nice car but it needs to be stock as and 38K is out of range, even though it is a very good price for the mods it has, probably would be TOO powerful to start with.

Meshybum : dont slander if you cant prove it, i cant see how they can sell stolen cars to the general public and STILL be in business(and not in jail)

GTTR34 : what kit is on that r34 in your pic?? nismo?

Is it worth importing with the current scheme?? Will the price difference be much, if any?

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
