400R bodykit

just wondering wat people thought of this body kit and wing...just wondering if people think it looks "try hard" or if it suits the ride. it's this compared to the standard type-m bodykit

I really dislike that front bar. The stock Type-M looks better. Ultimately it's your decision, do what you like and who cares what other people think!

its pretty much the same as any other 33 u see on the road...hehe. 400r's are as common as assholes but thats not to say that they dont look good. i actually preferr the series 2 spoiler over the gtr one. tryhard is when u put gtr badges on it which this one doesnt have so its alright.

That one looks a bit ricey and overdone. I like 400r bars but there are many different ones with slight differences. Nice 400r bar with no spoiler and lowered looks the best imho

Remove the mesh, add a FMIC, move the number-plate. Then you'll get a thumbs up.

Imo, anything is better than stock for looks (except maybe the Veilside monstrosity). I have the exact same front bar, and it looks great, but it's a pain in the arse to drive with as it's so low. Most people on the forums don't mind this though, so I could be in the minority here. If you don't mind going up driveways sideways, then get it.

This is the front bar i got when i ordered my 400r bar.

It looks more like a r32 400r to me.

Looks better than stock for sure, its good... I'm not big on the gril being formed with the front bar tho... And the FMIC comment was spot on. I had a 400R bar on mine but it was too low... so back to old M-Spec bar.

That first pic just needs some fatter sideskirts and possible mesh removed and nice big intercooler there

yeah i dont' think that pic does the 400r kit justice .. croat got it right .. no spoiler .. slightly lowered, big rims-maybe slightly wider than usual, looks great .... i just don't think that colour really suits a skyline ... need something bright!!!

Big thumbs down. Mesh looks horrible, bar looks like it belongs to an entirely different car (the bar is all angles, the car is all curves and smooth surfaces).

Either ditch the bar, or make some changes to the rest of the car so the bar looks like it belongs. At least that's what I would do

thanks guys i think i agree with that...the R33 m-spec bodykits give it the subtle smooth lines it should have..think i'll stick with something like that...wat about standard spoiler...do people like the S2 or S1 spoilers?? or GTR spoilers???

yeah thanks i fully agree some people like it some don't...thanks for the support. i think the car would look good if it was beefed up on the sides n made more agressive but when it's standard i think it the smooth lines look good so i mite stick with something like that but thanks for the feedback

Personally I prefer the S1 spoiler on a stock R33 GTS-t, unless the car has a suitable front bar, then a S2 can work well. I don't like the R33 GT-R spoiler at all (although I realise I am probably in the minority)

Have you thought of maybe have no spoiler? If you want to get rid of the "fin" look, you can get a small spoiler, or one of those URAS-type spoilers that makes the boot completely flat. Looks schmick on GTS-t's IMHO.

paint all the mesh mat black (give it a kinda factory not 'tacky autobarn' look) an dump it an inch/inch an a half......an it'll look neat not a real fan of the 400r side vents, but looks good all the same.
