just back from car show at Parklands on Gold Coast. Did not see a single Stagea

Lots of Skies Sils & 180's and one Cifero.

Very disappointing!!!!!!!!!

When are we going to exhibit? Or do we keep it to ourselves?

Will there be any Stagea's at the Melbourne Auto Salon?

Next weekend (29th - 30th April)

Would be nice to see something there, the only Stagea I have seen in the flesh now belongs to Humble... I should see mine arrive this week though so I will be fairly enthusiastic by then!

Cheers

Luke

Nice work! Anyone else?

ouch thats gotta hurt, i must say thats a fair effort though, considering you were just about sitting on the speed limiter

yeah... well to recollection i was cruising on the limiter (fuel cut off a couple of times). ADR allows speedos to be within 10% accurate, which comes into play the faster your going, so yeah. id say i was cruisin at 180. Im not thrilled about the whole situation, but yeah. they should raise the speed limits between 1 and 5 in the mornings on that stretch of road! haha ive never seen such a tiny picture of a car in one of those photos but... i was pretty far by the time its shutter snapped! :whistling:

ps i am a big fan of your front bar - its a 260, right? really big fan. just had a Nismo one fitted. pics soon, as well as the rest of the kit.

and techo - shall scan, shall post, shall be laughed at lol. at least i know all my tail lights work wonderfully. and my number plate lamp must be BRIGHT as a MOFO cos i dont remember a flash.

Yeah series 2 260rs front bar, if only i had the sideskirts to match :whistling:

spotted silver s1 stock as a rock drivin along the foreshore in newy late sunday arvo.

caught me by surprise as i had not yet spotted any other stageas wen i've been in mine.

i'm sure the fella behind the wheel was just as shocked.

pretty sure it had qld plates on it

Spotted white series 2, came through drive through at work, I said nice Stagea, he said most people dont know what they are...

So i asked if he saw mine parked next to the menu board. lol

Was very neat with leather. Sweet lookin Stag

Spotted a light green Stagea turning off Parramatta Rd today around Haberfield, approximately 12.30pm. It had an extra pair of driving lights in the bottom of the front bar, but looked otherwise standard. Was being driven by a female. Soccer mum, maybe?

Unfortunately, I wasn't in mine at the time.

Stageas - you want stageas. We've got stageas everywhere - I've got a silver dayz S1 with chrome rims, black spokes, lowered, full stainless ces system and little green lights under side mirrors and just down the road is a silver S2 rwd fmic and big turbo and a little bit further down the road is a white S2 with bodykit. Not to far down the coast is a yellow S2 with body kit. So the far north coast of nsw is stageaville.

Happy trails, see you on the road. pics coming soon .............................

leetom :D

    • Didnt realise RB's had more then 1 head.
    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
