Does any body on SAU work at Trojan, thinking bout takin my car there to fix the defect stuff but wanna chat first. Or is there someone who's best too talk too? Do they give us any sorta deal?

Thanks guys. I'm still thinking I may do it myself buuuut then it maybe better to just get it done.

As for replacing upper inner control arm bushes and radius rod bushes, what's best to go with? OEM, nolathane?

Well, totally different but same, the SkyWagStag now has 4 lots of either New or good second hand Nolathane bushes (Castor, Swaybar and Swaybar links) on it.

Being much better condish than the 24 year old Flogged out ones, they make a huge difference. But I guess new OEM ones may well be the same.

I just got whatever was cheaper.

Rubber is better, even for racecars.

It takes up the shock and vibration without getting loose.

Also John at Trojan sold me those volks for $600. Was $800 but he couldnt get a part or something so i got a discount. He is very nice.

$800 was a bargain anyway.

Well thank jeebus the hot weather is over.

I can move again, and be outside during the day.

Whiteline do rubber too.

Hardrace have the option of hardened rubber, but its mostly arms n stuff with the bush already in it.

Also stay away from rose joints or pillow ball joints, they suck balls, and wear very quickly. Bastards need replacing in 6 months.

Yes i wasted money on that crap. Thanks Driftworks, wankers.

there was sudden rain down at my dads in Calwell for about 10 mins yesterday, got out of the pool, smoke everywhere, herd thunder and the raid instantly came down hard! the heat cracked a pipe for the pool heater so lost some water out of the pool, the rain filled it again within 10 mins....

so I went inside, jumped on gt6, got the 33 and went drifting :)

I just hope they will at least re-look at the highway driving. Making it 120km/h would be a great increase. That way I can drive 130km/h on the highway instead of currently driving 120km/h :D

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
