Finally managed to get the pictures off the camera!

She is a bit dirty and rough so hold back on the negativity :)

Outside:

wide angle

car from distance

rims with sick snow tyres!

front bar

front bar close to my driveway

rear end

rear end 2

Engine Bay

Interior

inside

omori guages

recaro bucket

Damage

dent in bonnet

rear left damage (worst)

rust spot

Overall once I fix up the dent in the rear and that rust spot it will be all good. I think she is pretty sexy. Exhaust needs to be done.. that one has a little hole in it which makes a humming noise;/

Anyway I look forward to seeing you all out and about!

The only downfall (and subsequently first thing to be rectified) is that it's an auto.

yes you heard right feel free to start hanging shit.

BUT

that being said I got it pretty damn cheap so I managed to fit insurance/compliance/rego/alarm and shit into my loan money. For a uni student with no parents to support him, that's a good thing!

Just for the record it came with the following:

Omori guage panel (oil/water temp, oil pressure, ext temp)

GReddy boost guage

Nismo 260km/h dash cluster

KYB Super Street 4 way adjustable suspension (springs I'm unsure about, not stock because my original shocks + springs were in the boot)

Blitz super sound BOV (not on the car, was in a kit in the boot)

HKS EVC (old school one like in meggala's ceffie - not plugged in was sitting in the glovebox)

SAFC (again old school item with the 5 knobs)

3inch exhaust (pretty crappy mild item but does the job)

Recaro bucket + 4 point harness

my climate control box was moved to my glovebox (gotta love more room for more guages!)

GTR front bar/bonnet/skirts/rear bar/wing/I think the rear guards are pumped or GTR items/r33 grille (think it's an r33 grille.. anyone know?)

Think that's everything

Looks awesome, i like the grill, looks good and probably 1/4 the price of a gtr one.

Also, from the engine bay pic it looks like it has a remote oil filter kit, which is handy coz its a bitch to get to it in the normal place.

And youve got a strut brace, dont forget that.

Itll clean up good.

Congrats on the purchase. Pity it's auto tho, but nice never-the-less.

I'm curious as to how they fitted the high-center-rear brake light, cos AFAIK a GTR wing doesn't come with it.

I have a GTR replica bar sitting in my shed atm (plastic as far as I can tell)... makes me want to put it back on, but it'll scrape the hell outta everything (car is lowered slightly).

Thanks for all the kind comments. The manual conversion is the first thing on my list don't you worry.

Yeah mine is stupid low and scrapes on everything too.. more so because I wasn't used to the ride height and was doing this maybe a little too quickly heh.

Didn't the GTR come with the brake light in the wing? Interesting..

A quick question relating to rubber. I'll have to get some new rubber because the ones on the car are winter/snow tyres.. what do you suggest I do:

a) find a 32 owner and borrow his for a few hours at the pits?

B) buy some new rubber for it..

I don't have a heap of cash so might go for second hand rubber if that's the path I'll take.. anyone know prices on second hand rubber?

There's a post on tyres. Here's what japcab had to say.

North End tyres bro

14a carrick drve,

tullamarine.

Second hand tyres with 85%-95% tread on em.

Cheap as chips, i scored 285/R18/30 Pirelli Pzeros for $150 fitted.

check em out.

Personally i will get my tyres from them to. Oh and nice car. :)

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
