Q: Good son of rajab what a terrible abortion of a car. The only people I could think might possibility want to be seen driving that pile of mismatched crap would be rice boys and perhaps the mentally handicapped (not a huge difference there really). Answered on Nov-27-04

A: Abortion huh... i bet thats the same thing your mom wishes she had done raising a 24/7 computer nerd that jacks off to cheap porn on the net huh.Mismatched? Its called primer stupid look it up.

G.O.L.D. !

The really REALLY sad thing is is that in Japan, guys copy Americans... even with stuff such as that Civic abomination. Somebody kill it before it breeds!

LA Style tuining... yeah all the Young & Cool mags that I've picked up recently all have japs doin that shit to their cars... Rezz... educate the poor nihonjin.

Q: you're car sucks. you shoulda puty an h22 conversion or something be4 your rice approach. and i got a site where you can buy the real deal skyline then get a front clip with all the parts needed to install for 8g's and it will cost less than 10g in shop work to put it all together. RB26DETT thats whats up not sohc nonV-TEC your engine puts out less than 1/4 the hp/tq on that engine.RICE RICE RICE Answered on Nov-27-04

A: An H22 what are you retarded!I have a SR20 motor custom built to fit this car. Im keeping the engine for my other car so i know what **** im doing. An H22 what the hell am i gonna do with a wack ass Prelude motor. Like i said find A R34 Spec 2 model for that price and you'll shut me up . Thats what i thought

SR20 in a Civic? wtf???

ok dudes, we all agree the americans are whack! somtimes.

but the japs are worse

56k beware, theres alot of pics

Yeah but at least that actually looks good, and could actually fool some people into thinking it was legit... our American friend on the other hand completely wasted his $20,000.

at least that NSX is convincing... and its built on an NSX, not some pissy civic.

besides... you'd have to find someone with severe astigmatism to convince em that's a real R34... as I said, it looks like an R34 that went thru the wash and shrunk.

If that car was in any other country other than the states, it'd win the Arseclown awards at all the motorshows for sure.

As for his SR20 pipe dreams think he's thinking of putting the SR20 in from a GTiR, because last I checked regular SR's were N-S and Civic engines were E-W.

ill say this to him-

WELL DONE YOU *UCKING DICKHEAD. WELL DONE.

what the hell was he thinking? that makes me feel embarrased to see that.

its bad enough that its a civic but making it look like a decent r34 GTR is just...wrong. he deserves the shit hes getting. why would you? the ricers must love it (and its prob ricers that are bidding on that piece of shit) but as a skyline person that makes me feel shit.

i must admit, he obvioussly put in the effort and it is a pretty good fit (from the frount) but..

plus he sucks at comebacks. probably yet another OC ****sucker who thinks his life is o so hard...but thats another topic.

WHAT A *UCKWIT

What the hell was that car?? What a joke!!

There was a guy on Australian ebay that was selling a r34 gtr for $14,000 in Cairns a couple of months ago, knowing that there had to something wrong or was not true my hubby and i wanted to meet the guy and check the car out. He at first made up a stupid story of being overseas then he said to deposit a "looking fee"($5000) into his account! As you could imagine we had a bit of a giggle and told this guy we knew what he was up to and he took the car off the site.

As of last night the car was back on and this time it was in NSW but it is off again and im sure that it will end up back there. It was a nice car but he said it only had 500k's on the clock and that he was in "desperate need" to get rid of it.

This guy has no idea, he just wants cash up front and then run. Total scammer!

Im going to investigate this yankee guy and get back to you guys with what i find out...just to see if it is all for real, which i dont think it is.

Cheers and thanks for the laugh

yea, you better investigate that cheap R34,

Im sure you heard of the story "Porsche = $11bux"

anyways, for the ones that didnt hear it, its about the couple that got divorced somwhere in Central Australia, the wife placed an advertising of $11 bux, for her ex-husbands Prosche (im in belive it was a 911 or boxter), which was under her name.

Everyone that read the advertising thought it was a mis-print, then some dickhead actually rang up, and enquired about the $11bux porsche, if it was still up for sale, and the wife said yes, come and pick it up. So he went there and bought it of her for $11 bux.

The wife told him, this was a payback to her husband.

crazy ppl out there,.

worth checking out the R34.

about Ebay...

there was this chic a few months ago on it, she was from Dandenong (melbourne) auctioning mobile phones in lots.

for instance, 20 Brand new mobiles (latest ones) worth each like 1grant, she was selling them 20phones in a lot for 1500bux.

it almost works out that you pay for one phone and get 19phones for free.

i saw it and though,,,,, nice and easy money for a blodger like me... so i got in touch with her, had several conversations via phone, but was to suspicios, as she wanted the payment in her account before she hand in the phones.

i told her, ill come pick them up fcuk her suburb is not even 1 hour drive... but she refused, she said you can come pick them up, but you have to deposit the money before we meet up.

gave me some bullshit story, i knew straight away this sounded like a modaf#ckin scam.

so i didnt proceed.

in the mean time i contacted some **** that bought of her as well 20phones for 300bux, he told me he never received the phones.

the auction ended at 1700bux, some **** bought it of her for 1700bux.

2 weeks later, she was unregisterd from ebay. got kicked out, and there was a note saying "User under police investigation bla bla"

so boys watch out..

Some people are so bloody dodgy!

Ok, Found out about the guy in the good ol US of A. He is under police investigation and the bids that you see on the site are actually the cops! What he has done in the past with this car is selling it, taking a big deposit then.....thats it! He changes he's user name everytime he puts the car back on and thats why he has no "ebay rating" cause he is never the same guy selling it!! The police got so many complaints that they had to do something. So it is good to see that he will get caught! Stupid idiot.

Cheers, xr8eater (mrs) shhh dont tell my husband im doing this! hehe

    • OK, so regardless of whether you did Step 1 - Spill Step 2 - Trans pan removal Step 3 - TCM removal we are on to the clean and refill. First, have a good look at the oil pan. While you might see dirty oil and some carbony build up (I did), what you don't want to see is any metal particles on the magnets, or sparkles in the oil (thankfully not). Give it all a good clean, particularly the magnets, and put the new gasket on if you have one (or, just cross your fingers)
    • One other thing to mention from my car before we reassemble and refill. Per that earlier diagram,   There should be 2x B length (40mm) and 6x C length (54mm). So I had incorrectly removed one extra bolt, which I assume was 40mm, but even so I have 4x B and 5x C.  Either, the factory made an assembly error (very unlikely), or someone had been in there before me. I vote for the latter because the TCM part number doesn't match my build date, I suspect the TCM was changed under warranty. This indeed led to much unbolting, rebolting, checking, measuring and swearing under the car.... In the end I left out 1x B bolt and put in a 54mm M6 bolt I already had to make sure it was all correct
    • A couple of notes about the TCM. Firstly, it is integrated into the valve body. If you need to replace the TCM for any reason you are following the procedure above The seppos say these fail all the time. I haven't seen or heard of one on here or locally, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Finally, Ecutek are now offering tuning for the 7 speed TCM. It is basically like ECU tuning in that you have to buy a license for the computer, and then known parameters can be reset. This is all very new and at the moment they are focussing on more aggressive gear holding in sports or sports+ mode, 2 gear launches for drag racing etc. It doesn't seem to affect shift speed like you can on some transmissions. Importantly for me, by having controllable shift points you can now raise the shift point as well as the ECU rev limit, together allowing it to rev a little higher when that is useful. In manual mode, my car shifts up automatically regardless of what I do which is good (because I don't have to worry about it) but bad (because I can't choose to rev a little higher when convenient).  TCMs can only be tuned from late 2016 onwards, and mine is apparently not one of those although the car build date was August 2016 (presumably a batch of ADM cars were done together, so this will probably be the situation for most ADM cars). No idea about JDM cars, and I'm looking into importing a later model valve body I can swap in. This is the top of my TCM A couple of numbers but no part number. Amayama can't find my specific car but it does say the following for Asia-RHD (interestingly, all out of stock....): So it looks like programable TCM are probably post September 2018 for "Asia RHD". When I read my part number out from Ecutek it was 31705-75X6D which did not match Amayama for my build date (Aug-2016)
    • OK, Step 3, if you need to remove the valve body, either to replace it, the TCM, or to do a more complete drain.  First, you need to disconnect the TCM input wires, they are about half way up the transmission on the drivers side. One plug and the wires are out of the way, but there is also a spring clip that stops the socket from sliding back into the transmission. On my car the spring clip was easy to get, but the socket was really stuck in the o-ring of the transmission housing and took some.....persuasion. You can see both the plug to remove (first) and the spring clip (second) in this pic Incidentally, right next to the plug, you can see where the casting has allowance for a dispstick/filler which Nissan decided not to provide. there is a cap held on with a 6mm head bolt that you can remove to overfill it (AMS recommend a 1.5l overfill). Final step before the big mess, remove the speed sensor that is clipped to the valve body at the rear of the box.  Then removal of the Valve Body. For this the USDM Q50 workshop manual has a critical diagram: There are a billion bolts visible. Almost all of them do not need to be removed, just the 14 shown on the diagram. Even so, I both removed one extra, and didn't check which length bolt came from which location (more on that later....). Again it is worth undoing the 4 corners first, but leaving them a couple of turns in to hold the unit up....gravity is not your friend here and trans oil will be going everywhere. Once the corners are loose but still in remove all the other 10 bolts, then hold the valve body up with 1 hand while removing the final 4. Then, everything just comes free easily, or like in my case you start swearing because that plug is stuck in the casing. Done, the valve body and TCM are out
    • OK, so if you are either going for the bigger fluid change or are changing the valve body which includes the Transmission Control Module (TCM), first you should have both a new gasket 31397-1XJ0A and a torque wrench that can work down to 8Nm (very low, probably a 1/4 drive one). You can probably get by without either, but I really didn't want to pull it all apart together due to a leak. First, you now need that big oil pan. The transmission pan is 450 long x 350 wide, and it will probably leak on all sides, so get ready for a mess. There are 24x 6mm headed bolts holding the pan on. I undid the 2 rear corners, then screwed those bolts back in a couple of turns to let the pan go low at that end, then removed all the middle bolts on each side. Then, undo the front corner bolts slowly while holding the pan up, and 80% of the fluid will head out the rear. From there, remove the remaining bolts and the pan is off. You can see it is still dripping oil absolutely everywhere...it dripped all night.... I got another couple of litres when I removed the pan, and then another few when I removed the valve body - all up another 4l on top of the 3 already dropped in step 1.
