Just what I've been looking for, but didn't want to spend upwards of $200. Did you order through their website?

EDIT: Couldn't find the particular model you specified on the website.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I just got a set of roof racks for my Series 2 Stagea and wanted to advise other owners that these fit perfectly;

"Jetbag" brand. Owned and made by Thule (Sweden), 3 yr warr

Model- Complete 6501

Black 126cm long with black foot kit

Lockable

75 Kg rating (very good)

Got them through these guys based in NSW - $105 delivered (less than 1/2 the price of ROLA, THULE and the other major brands).

More info here.

Apperently the same as the current model Toyota RAV 4 with roof rails.

Go to www.jetbag.com

then click on "load carriers", then "jetbag complete" then "railing rack".

I ordered these through Roof Rack World in NSW by phone.

www.roofrackworld.com.au

Ring them and ask for the above "Jetbag" ones for Nissan Stagea....the guy was very helpful (Daniel I think his name was) and measured up a new RAV4 that he had outside after I gave him some dimensions of the roof rails on the Stagea and said they will fit fine.....and yes they did.

Sometimes they also advertise on Ebay.

The racks are compatible with the full range of Thule accessories as they have the standard size bar.

Fantastic, thanks for that.

Thanks for that, off to the local Auto One store I go......will post pictures when fitted.

Another person sorry to dig up an old post but...... just wondering if anyone has pics of their roof racks yet?

Hi Guys,

Has anyone had a look at Repco?

They had two or three brands of roof racks (rola, thule?, .......?) with a multitude of accessories and clamps for different roof rails in their range.

I saw a particular clamp that im sure would fit a stag, both the clamp and bar it

suited was quite aerodynamic.

I have a set of roof racks for a Stagea for sale. They were given to me when I purchased my car but I have no need for em. They are for snow boards and snow skis. I am not sure of the brand, but send me a PM if you want to know more about em.

AutoBarn catalogue just arrived (13/10/2010) with a set (pair) of Buzz Roof Racks for rail-type roof mountings (like the Stagea).

$89 for the pair.

Just bought a set of these. They fit PERFECTLY! Will post pictures soon. And also plan on buying some bike rails for it too.

Wait whats this, some roof-rack-toting bicycle riding family wagon with a slow-poke behind the wheel? Then BAM!, gone in a cloud of fuel and carbon

are they aerofoil style?

or box section?

might have to investigate further

nah just square tube (slightly rectangular). Repco currently has 50% off Rola racks, but they dont make some for stageas, and even went to a roof rack specialist and he basically said 'well they dont make them, so all i can offer is Thule universal ones for $270 a pair'...

Whispbar actually have the Stagea as a selectable model on their website (http://www.whispbar.com.au/cars/nissan/stagea) - not sure how they'd go but they look like they'd be an option to consider?

UPDATE: Approximately $300-$350 for the Whispbar set.

does anyone have any more photos of their roof racks installed? The square type ones would be ok, for a couple of trips now and then, but don't they create a fair bit of drag and noise? just what i've heard.....

still thinking to get a set of rola racks..... just a bit pricey for only being used a couple of times per year... hmmm decisions

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
