z3n2k: I installed my kit and had no problems at all. What do you mean by pit. The bolts where not long enough? Or did not quite fit into the hole? Because if it is the second one then you would not have aligned the the components correctly.

If you do have problems with the kits you should let me know. As I can put up a FAQ on how to install the kit for those of you having trouble and to help out future installers. It is better you tell me now then people getting upset at me thinking the kit is faulty. So speak up let me know your boggle, Im not here to give people doggy deals! :)

The bolts didnt fit the holes on the base clamp. Stop trying to make out like we dont know how to install these kits. They are simple to install, if you have been sold all the correct parts!!

How bout a refund for those shonky shifter kits you sold us??

z3n2k + gR33ddy = 2 complaints. Isnt that enough??

Fact is I paid $130 for a shifter that was missing peices and doesnt fit and you claim that it did.

That is enough reason for a refund from only 1 customer.

Sorry greddy. I have enough reasons why I should not refund your money. I have to be very careful when I accept refunds. Mainly because this is not my money I deal with. I dont make any money on this at all. It is more like a barter system.

1) I'm sorry while you where installing your short shift kit you broke the end plastic piece and you had to buy a kit that supplied the piece. Remember asking me if I could get one for you. So now you want to get back some of your money, I guess. The only way you can do this to by blame my product. I'm not in the business of fixing up your misfortunes. Sorry. But if you were nice to me I would have helped resell the product of refund it if it was in perfect condition.

2) I'm not very happy with z3n2k. I will keep my mouth shut on the details as he seems to be nice person generally. So his opinion is invalid. If a Group buy organiser is reading make sure your accounting is up to scratch.

Only after you said something about the kit I get a negative responce, not before so I consider it a little fishy

I've had enough of your crap and lies and this is the reason I put a bad mark against your trader rating. I will not be replying to anymore of your replies.

I like to be fair and keep customers happy and I will do so as long as they are fair back. :D

fact - the kit u sold me was for a RB20 not RB25.

They are different to one another and are not interchangeable.

You were not fair to me in the first place by selling me an item that will not fit!!

Hey guys

Bad news! intercoolers are not going to be here for atleast 6 weeks!! I cant believe this my supplier tells me to put up a group buy as the coolers are on the boat and they will be here in 4 week. Weeks later I have to tell everyone it is not even on the boat and it will be another 6 weeks. Using excuses like china new year. It make me look like a unreliable person to deal with... My depest appoligies to those that have waited for so long....

Once they do arrive I have been told that the kits will be atleast $50 cheaper for the first 10 kits. I'm going to haggle him for $100 I think we deserve it.

Once again sorry for the wait.

  • 1 month later...
I will put up some decent reasons why the kits are taking so long later tonight

Raf not sure what is happening , looks like this buy is dead now,

But I couldn't wait for the piping any longer, the cooler I picked up through you was sitting there looking at me feeling all neglected so I had too make the pipes myself.

Thanks

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
