martydaman
yep, there's a red light camera near my place, has a speed camera right next to it. Chances are that if you saw the flash... check your mail regularly Sorry though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62897-can-red-light-cameras-give-speeding-tickets/#findComment-1184727 Share on other sites

MerlinTheHapyPig
yes, and most of them these days are dual cameras. there are dual cameras on mountainhwy/wantirna rd and bornia rd/wantirna rd. So i would have thought there would be one on mountain hwy/bornia rd, but it isn't mentioned in the below site for those 2 roads specifically, but all of those roads are pretty close together. http://www.roadwatch.com.au/speedcameras.asp Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62897-can-red-light-cameras-give-speeding-tickets/#findComment-1185457 Share on other sites

Blitz_boy
Best thing to do is to get petrol powered angle grinder and cut the thing down before they remove the film. ferni
Most of the red light cameras are duel speed/red light these days, i'm always paranoid driving through any set of traffic lights... your best hope is that they had run out of film in the camera/it wasn't full operational yet. Al
Best thing to do is to get petrol powered angle grinder and cut the thing down before they remove the film. I'm pretty sure that the new camera's are digitally linked to the head office. So your fine will be being processed b4 you get to the end of the street. Maybe now you(tintin) will learn to keep to speed limits and respect the law. Blitz_boy
No, there's a guy that comes and removes and reloades the film. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/62897-can-red-light-cameras-give-speeding-tickets/#findComment-1185818 Share on other sites
