Make sure you are glued to the TV tonight for the Today Tonight program. The reporters are claiming to "infiltrate" a Street racing gang here in Syd and the report is showing how "street racing" is taking over our streets :P

I noticed on the add they show a black R33 doing donuts.... this should be fun.

I think its at 6:30 on channel 7

Yeah i'll be watching, the courier mail have already started spinning shit, they've got a picture of a WRX smoking the wheels around a corner, then under neath a picture of an XR8 dash with 230kmh on it, then a quote saying something like, wheel nut...230km/h around a corner or some crap. This better not be another one of those shit for brains articles with a bunch of a cock jockeys saying how tuff they are in their commodore with an exhaust tip on it.

I heard about this, but I heard the street racing "gang" was on the Gold Coast.

Apparently TT went undercover, posing as a "performance video" crew :P

as always. check the next story out. what a pri*k. he's raised $700,000 for his council from just parking fines in one year.

ha. prince of parking fines. more like wan**r of parking fines. it's not his fault ppl are stupid and park illegaly but he can show a bit of mercy.

that story was f**ked. they make out that anyone with a high performance car driving around of a weekend is a hoon and does illegal street racing.

although probably most people do this:D the cops are going to be assholes and get real strict here on the coast i reckon.

I hate how they say a dangerous move called the rolling road block, that's to stop people getting in the way you bloody wankers.

true. that chick that got 'traumatised' was an idiot. i feel sorry for her. what a sad case.

oooh, this parking inspector is giving me the sh*ts. what a cold hearted person. no compassion whatsoever.

    • Update: tested my spark plugs that are supposed to be 5ohms with a 10% deviation and one gave me a 0 ohms reading and the rest were 3.9ohm<, so one bad and the others on their way out.
    • 9" wheels are a little too wide for a RWD 32. They can fit. People have put R33 GTR wheels on 32s for years and years. But they are a very tight squeeze. This has been known for about 30 years. As I said - there is no difference between a 17 and an 18 in terms of what will fit. The rolling diameter needs to stay about the same as stock - not very much larger. If you increase that, you will start to have problems. If you increae rolling diamater at the same time as yo increase width, you will have problems earlier. as 9" wheels are pushing the boundaries already, you would need to be careful with tyre choice. I would put 8.5s on the front of mine, but would expect problems with 9s.

    • Diagnostic flow for a code 21 says check signal at the ECU pins, on a voltmeter of some kind it should read 0.1V at idle, 0.12V cranking, 0.15-0.25V at 2000 rpm. Check each coil such that +1, -3 is infinite or very high resistance, -3, +2 should do the same. (-1, +3), (+3, -2), (+1, -2), and (-1, +2) should all be somewhere between 0 ohms and high resistance. If you trace the path from the coil pin all the way back to the ECU in the diagram the resistance you measure at the coil vs connected to the harness should be pretty much the same.
    • I have an elite 2500 running an adapter harness on an rb25de neo r34. I took the butterfly out and removed all that junk. But I also went Plus+t at the same time. The butterfly thing works in reverse to the boost solenoid on the Gtt if that makes sense
