hi guys a good up grade is the csc brakes 343 mm rotors and 355 mm if you have 18 inch wheels the rotors are 32mm thick they run a porshe pad and give great braking and have 24 slot design so they look great to I run these on my r32 gtr and can sell the kits at a good price

Hi what tyres were you using for those times? :(

all I have to say is that BRAKES is not spelt breaks... sorry for being so pedantic but it bugs the hell out of me.

also interested in the price on this csc brake upgrade kit.

Does the csc kit use the standard caliper or is it a full kit???

People i would try and rebuild the "BRAKES" ( Thanks aswell Richard) yourselves, as it is quite straight foword provided you have some mechanical knowledge. It will also only cost you about $100 in parts!!!!

And i'm guessing all you would need is a seal kit, time and some patience?

Roy how much did Racebrakes cost for the seal kit install again?

The Nissan prices are outrageous so give them a miss, but stick with the stockies and give them a freshen. There is a couple of threads here on the perils of spending lots on brakes and you can end up with worse than what you have, especially if you upset the balance of front, rear and master cylinder swept volumes. The GTR's do have ABS so there is some margin.

In all seriousness if you can get them let me know. They are what im looking for as they generally go for the same price as GTR Brembos or in many cases a lot cheaper.

And from what ive been told/read they are far superior. Actually ill know Thursday morning whether i have got my super dooper brake upgrade:whackit:

Not off a Porsche , but off another Supercar and they are farking big...so farking big my car will probably stop worse then it does now...but they are so farkin big ill smile every time i walk up to my car and look at them...did i mention they are farking huge:whackit: :(

...and no im not telling, they are a steal as all the ricers havent caught onto just what they are, so there is no demand meaning they are relatively cheap, so ii have been waiting forever for some to come along, and until i get soem im not sharing my secret:)

Roy, just so I'm clear on this, are they big or not?

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
