Now for pure rice factor, what do you guys think of these. Few places selling them on international ebay and also worksauto sell them for $150.

What do you think of the safety issue, like.. is it gunna get sucked in and blow the engine up from the inside? :D

ALSO, it says its easy to install, has any1 know of any1 who has installed one?

EDIT: Sorry.. i was sure I put the link in the first time

Have wat installed?

Just think of the roar of your engine...the heat of the flames, the envy of the street, the melted paint you'll be dealing with, DEFECT after DEFECT after defect,

oh... and let's not forget the massive tank of fuel sitting in front of these flames, call me crazy but in my course of life fire and fuel aren't a good mix when you're trying to drive somewhere or impress some girls.

See if you can answer this multiple choice question.

the 'flame thrower' has;

a) been around for a very long time

B) burnt plenty of people

c) increased police revenue

d) made people mildly more amused than igniting one's own farts with a lighter

e) identified it's owners with the colapse of the mental health system

f) all of the above.

if i saw one of those on a skyline..

i would... flip out and KILL!!!

on a scale from 1 - 10

ten being really homo

i rate it at 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

00 x 99999999999999999

=

99999999999999999000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

000000000000000000

so that is so homo i cant even fit it on a calculator to work that out!!

dad did that to his car when he was like 18 (ie. 70s) all u need is a fuel line, a tap on it prolly use relays and that stuff nowadays tho,a spark plug, and woo hoo. flames. good way to void your insurance, attract attention (cops and d!ckheads)

But to answer your question, as far as rice goes it would look kewl till u burnt sum1 and got sued.

best of luck to ya :)

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
