what do you think?

To be totally honest I much prefer the Grey one you have :)

Not to keen on annodized rims, how bout you swap the seats etc from the Red one into the Grey one :aroused:

Thanks. Yep, lip is in the boot. Better pics soon.

Hope there'll be some of the engine bay :P

After that pic showing us the welding on the exhaust i'm sure i'm not the only one keen on seeing what setup it's running. Should be interesting to see what times it runs when you get it to the strip

i still have the grey one until saturday.. but yeah its sold.. the red one should clean up real nicely..

i have to grap some standard seats for complience for the red one tho :P

i also have to find some other wheels.. the MASSIVE slicks that are on it now wont be any good for complience..

I have complied 4 cars in the past 2 weeks, all with similar issues - suspension, wheels, exhaust, guages, air filter, blow off valve etc.

In regards to the coilovers - its ok, as long as its the standard height. (thats what i have been told anyway).

I have a set of standard R33 wheels, airbox, exhaust so that parts taken care of.

As i said earlier, only issue i can see is the Sunroof.

Thiss thread is a little old but my question to you is why you would bother, given that it would have been much easier to just source and comply a stock car and modify it to your tastes (or exactly how this one looks) no offense but it looks like a massive job, dodgy/flaky paint, damaged sideskirts, and what looks to be an old supra intercooler grafted in a hurry to fit the car with little thought for airflow. add to that the amount of work you have to do.

It looks tough, big question is...is it that tough to warrant all that effort? Unless you've sourced it for real song....a real song.

Esp that given the prices of R33 these days.... and the idea of grafting a roof for compliance....

sounds like alot of good money going after the bad.

nxtime: As silver gtst so eloquently put it, lets see some more pics of that baby .. :)

He has a way with words, doesn't he? "Please" isn't in his vocabulary :)

I have more pics in my gallery.

My camera has a problem with outdoor/bright light pics, hence the poor quality.

hahaha its a nice gts,

paints looking nice.

and engine shots? ahhhem

Its a GTR... not to be mistaken with the more common GTS with 'R front grill and front bar.. :flamed:

As for the paint, I believe NXTIME just had it resprayed?

And yeah engine shots .. I agree with the engine shots :)

it never came with a wing, only a Nismo rear lip and the wing holes where (poorly) deleted. I want to be a bit different so I'm going with the sleek look :) Might fit a new lip spoiler and side skirts later.

It has some nice wheels coming and will definitely be dropped.

Nothing to see under the bonnet - it looks a bit like yours :)

    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
