Any of you people crossing the river for SAU Nationals?

126 days to go? I'm actually very tempted... Nice site too, hard to pull off a black but clean style :) but get rid of that view counter! so 1995 geocities :P Use GA or something if you actually want to find that kind of information :)

Accomm costs - totally in your control via the website widget. It was easier to do it that way.

Not 100% on costs yet. Going to probably have 2-3 package options. Stuff like DVD inclusion etc.

But a bare-bones pack... Trackday + Show'n'Shine, less than $200 without question. Just don't now how much less yet, and we making sure everyone gets heaps of track time so limited entry to justify people coming interstate and stuff.

Show'n'Shine is only like $5-$10 as just have to cover the security guard hire & other similar costs.

BUT there are BIG f**k off trophies for track day, show'n'shine etc. Its looking like trophies alone will be costing at least 3-4k, so it's not being done half hearted :D

All that will be put up later once classes are worked out (2-3 weels)

Pretty sure I'd just be a spectator if I went, transporting the car over and whatnot isn't worth enough to me as my stock little R33 isn't really competitive :P Although you're not sure on prices, will there be a spectator entry fee?

wow, pretty sure there's a massive story behind that which I don't know...

Not really a massive story just over imports and back appreciating the "older" cars again. I lunched 2 engines in my old 32 and it was off the road for nearly 4 years due to other commitments so I was glad to see the tail lights pull out of the drive when it left :D

    • From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.
    • I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

    • Mark's a bit smarter than people give him credit... He'd convince the person that is to become dead, to drive him to the forest first. That way his car has no evidence in it, and he's free to dispose of their vehicle permanently how he sees fit too...
    • But if you had to go bury a body in the forest, would you not put that in the boot? Most of them are >=90kg these days.
