loooove te bonnet!!

as you mentioned it fibreglass with carbon fibre on top of it....

where is it from... would be nice to get one and instead of drawing to much cop attention have it painted same colour as the car.. would look schweet!

the carbon fibre look does look nice aswell though!

is there somewhere where we can get some more pics plus prices?

The carbon bonnets are from a guy who is sellin them on the forum. They are a pre order but this buy has finished. Heres a link for pics and prices

I dont think that I will paint the bonnet as my car is gun metal grey and it shouldnt stand out too much. If anything it may look like a miscmatched colour from a distance.

the bonnet would look great on the 33, even though it won't stand out a crapload on the gunmetal.

the GT wing i'm not too sure, i've seen 33GTS-Ts with straight flat design GT wings and they look great, however i think that curvy one u posted might not work well with the already curvy rounded design of the 33.

however, it's what you think, and would go great with the bonnet :(

i think carbon bonnets and gt wings look mad! (obviously, check out my gallery :P)

as someone else mentioned, not sure about the curves on a 33? would have to see it first. the only unbfortunate thing is the gun metal grey wont highlight the carbon much, but still cool.

As far as "practicality" of the bits and pieces....well....who here bought a skyline to be practical? Theres always going to be the "sleeper" style modifiers that bags the "looks" style modifiers, best to have both the "looks" and "power" to back it up :(, the wallet doesnt always agree though!

it's your car, my theory is that if every time you walk back to you car and you think to yourself "yeah i'm still proud to own my car" than who cares what anyone else thinks

my 2 cents

:(

i like wings. just decent ones on decent cars, not the boeing wings on eclipses such as on laugh at rice. but the lack of a wing makes the back look low and fat, especially r32s. how i like it :aroused: carbon wings look awesome with a carbon bonnet. my 2 cents..

Heres some pics of my car with the GT wing just sitting on the boot.

Bear in mind the S1 spoiler is still attached(anyone know how to remove them??) and the GT wing would sit approximately 5-10cm further back than in the pics.

Does anyone know where to get CF bootlids for R33??

:)

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
