I can do the car for $20500 minus the boost gauge, upper links, N1 turbos and engineering($1000).

Or $23500 for the lot engineered

Possibly could do it $1250 cheaper on both prices if I swapped the engine for the other RB26 I have.

Now I'm off apprentice wages and moved back home I'm going to spend a lot more and buy a highly worked gtr.

Please call if your serious

No offence but if i remember correctly this GTR needed to have the engine fixed as it was on its way out?

If this isn't the car then i appologise...

Just that i remember it on J-Spec or Imports101 i think it was

I can personally vouch for the fact the engine runs, and runs well, nothing needs fixing on it from what i could tell.

Rowdy's a good bloke, and well in to the Skyline Club in Melb, he's not about to go stooging someone over this sale and giving himself a bad name.

Hi are you willing to do a compression test or leak down test for us interstate before we look into this seriously?

its a good price for a car here in aust.

thanks

Ther is nothing wrong with the engine, there was another gtr for salew that was red with a shagged engine. I haven't had a chance to even look at the car since I bought it but I should be able to do a comp test this w/e.

hi mate,

yes i beleive you , but for peace of mind as i would with any car, before i ring you and arrange a flight from brisbane to melbourne its nice to know compression on the cylinders.

as i'd do one before i handed over the cash anyway.

thanks v much.

ps - any more pics would be grately appreciated? ie here in aust.

thanks

Hi,

Thanks to your inability to please a potential buyer (all i ask is that you done a compression test) Ive took my 30k elsewhere and purchased another GTR.

I liked the look of this car and we would have done the deal by now if i knew it was all sweet. I had the money and wanted a GTR now.

On your Behalf, if you want to sell a car it doesnt take much effort at all to do a compression test.

For this reason, until i have proof otherwise, i beleive in my mind the car has a problem... you must understand that logic.

I was waiting for communication to say the car was good, i would of booked a flight, checked the car and possibly bought it.

thanks for your help, or lack of it.

Good Luck selling the car. It looks a beast.

Michael

If you were keen you would have called me. Reed the add! Stop talking s**t you are obviously just another time waster! I know the car is fine and I could have tested if if I knew you were really serious. I could have said that it was fine and all you could do was believe me but at least I'm not a liar. I have only just finished changing the turbos to the n1's over the last few night (wasn't at home on the weekend) so at least i know they're good and the car goes fairly hard with them on only 12psi. Next will be changing the spark plugs and change all the oils so I will comp test it then and then put it on the dyno. Just to let you know there was no blow by oil in the inlet pipes and the car doesn't blow any smoke and it pulls very hard down low and boosts early so I would assume that it has very good comp.

hey mate if your interested in doin a swap on a 95 180sx with 230 kw atw and run a 12.5 quater let me know if spent about 20 k on my 180 so its pretty full on if not hope u still got this car when i sell mine

cheers anthony

u can email me at [email protected]

Gareth can you email me some more pics at [email protected] Depending how the sale is going id be interested in having a look when i get back to Melb at the end of the month.

As for trade ppl, he also has an R32 GTST with an RB26, so dont know how keen he will be:(

Ppl i have personally found Gareth to be a honest and helpful person, as such i have full confidence that he is doing his best to keep you informed.

That is one wicked looking car; if that's not modified enough what is? :D

More pics would be great ;)

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
