On a day of crazy fast times and cars your effort was execptional Brisby. Well done.

I still can't believe I ran a 1.22.2 and that it was only good enough for the 7th fastest time of the day. That's a seriously quick group of cars out there.

But anyways I'm exhausted and I need to go find a beer.

Well what can I say, a day full of excitement and dissapointment, it just wasn't my day... After 5 attempts the intercooler piping was just not holding full boost in fourth gear, resulting in 1 complete timed lap of 1:29.... I wanted to leave at the end of the day with a sub 1:30, so I guess that's something to be proud of...

Full congrats to Roy, stepped up to the challenge and delivered the goods... WELL DONE TROY!!!! Hopefully next outing at Sandown I'll be able to match the time....

Gareth (Rowdy R32), brings a tear to the eye seeing your car after the crash, you walked away unscathed so I guess that's all that matters.....

Snowy, good to see you improved on your previous time...

I must give out a big thank you to Andrew (ferni) and Denton (DentonR33??) for their help in trying to sort out the intercooler piping issue, Cheers guys, really appreciate it!!!

And to all the rest of the SAU clan, good to see you all out there supporting us TEAM WANGERS!!!!

Looking forward to the next one!!!

how'd the new brake setup go?

Great to see the team going so well. Was nice to drop in and say hi. Great time Troy, and I trust the car made it through the day unscathed. Is this a new watershed? 58Y finished a track day?

Gareth, condolences on the wall incident, but consider the fun of rebuilding :)

So what were the critical lap times?

Did Benno stave off the assault from that nice white GTR32?

As far as I know:

Me - 1:29 (1 timed lap for the whole day, retired early)

INASNT - 1:33

Roy -1:25

Snowy - 1:22

wwwrrxxx - 1:22

Frank - 1:20 (retired early)

RPMGTR - 1:17

Correct me if I'm wrong....

Not sure of Ant95GTR and any other TEAM WANGERS.....

Chris pulled a 1.23 before the gearbox lunched itself.  I would have put bucks on 22s.

I think it is time to change my user name..

Took me about 10 minutes to get used to my clutch again Jack..

Oh yeah, forgot all about Chris!!! Aaron, very impressive time considering you have bugger all mods on your car, must be the driver!!!!

Yeah clutch is a bit aggressive, good for holding the power though.....

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
