I'll take better / more pics in exchange for a ride in a passenger seat.. my 33 gts-t doesn't exactly cut it in terms of performance ;)

Hope you enjoy the photos on the CD John, there's a lot more I didn't post up due to server space limiations... was good to meet you today and see you again soon ;) Can't wait till the next day :):):)

I also do car photoshoots for a very cheap price if anyone is interested in getting some decent photos of your car :)

Oh, and LOL @ how stiff Johns brake pedal is... jesus, I reckon my leg would have given up after a couple of laps!!!

gtr jason 4 seconds dreamin. Next time out we will see and it will be interesting. Glad you came on the scene finally to give me some competition as of late it has been dodge the slower GTR. Bla Bla Bla.

Tommo The Pics Are Great But Next Time I Will Give You The Chance To Take One ,of My Gtr Screaming Past The 300zx I Will Throw The Rope Out For You John

hahahaha.

John, Beer Baron will be out, but I may take the 31 to give you a fighting chance. I will accept that head start though!!

Now, this september day, are we talking GP circuit, or short circuit?

edit: also Neil has a point on the sports sedan idea. You would just need to lower the wing a bit and you would be in. :)

Beer Baron put your beer down and read or listen we do South circuit unless you want to pay for the full circuit, hard enough to cover costs as it is.

Don't worry about your R31 you have a GTR what are you doing man?

I know it is cheating owning a shop. We race we learn you win. I had to say it. I already own a R31 GTS-T 4 door 3 litre TI loan car some of you have driven. I think if I got her out at the track it might not come home. Maybe it is trendy to have a beast and not take to the track and bring a shitter instead?? Maybe I am getting old but it does not make sense to me.

If GP circuit was say $50 more, I would pay that. I understand what you are saying though mate, and I do agree most people are a bit tight and probably wouldn't pay the extra for GP track. I think it's great that you even run these days. most people wouldn't bother, and I'm sure like you say there is no gold mine in running these as the costs are pretty big (track hire, staff, timing, etc etc etc).

Ok, next day can I bring the GTR and the 31? obviously both wont be on track at same time as I can only drive one at a time.

31s will own the track if Pete, Mark and co come out. it will be a 31 invasion. John can bring the Ti loaner to get in on the stock RB30 31 challange. shit we should get you all to buy 31s and have a little 31 Grand Prix.

pete, I hope you are free this at some point this weekend, cause I ahve a case of beer and an exhaust that needs to go onto the 31... will need help on both tasks.

:)

beer and exhaust together make the job go really quick

R31 Nugget racing get your tickets with a feature race of boats get your zeds ready. Grab your beer and see you at the track. Oh dear and we wonder why CAMS don't trust us.

I was being polite. Although we could have a session on our site for the old girls? Maybe ten minutes max so they last as Geoff, manager at Oran said, " NO LEAVING DEAD CARS THERE."

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
