Low is slow:cheers:

low is not always slow, but maybe in this instance it is

is it professionally lowered?? if not have the wheels been balanced and aligned?

cause if it is that low that it is rubbing the inside of the tyre might wear away and then blow out and then cause lots of trouble - accidents, dead people, manslaughter charges etc (very very nasty stuff)

its pretty low..my front gtr bar is sitting 72mm off the ground. the wheels dont show any camber i have only dropped it 1.5 inches i have GAB coilovers and just wound them down a bit..the inner plastic just scrubs on the top of the tire when i hit bumps on the road. and when i i go around a corner and hang the arse out (powerslide) the wheel just rubs on the actual gaurd itself i think due to bodyroll....to eliminate all of this i would it be recommended to just rais it .5 inches, and buy a bigger front sway bar to stop the body roll, and mould the plastics up a bit or just rip it out...in affect of ripping of the plastics will this mean when rocks flick up under the gaurds can they dent the actual gaurds???

I know a lot of cars not running the inner guards.. with wide body kits etc.

Stone etc dont dent the guards.. but you need to make sure the wiring is sealed well and there are no holes the enter the inside of the car... the water flicking off the wheels gets in even the smallest hole.

Too low is slow.

By removing the inner guards panels you have noticeably increased the aerodynamic drag, thereby lowered the top speed, reduced the acceleration rate and increased the fuel consumption.

Shall I get into how much power you have lost in excessive drive shaft angles? Nah, it's not realy necessary because everyone knows that:cheers:

I can't see you going fast speeds/hr on undullating semi-country road with 19's and 7cm off the ground.. Like the other night stuck behind some clown with a u-beaut body kit.. he was holding everybody up because of being worried about his precious bodykit dangling cm off the ground. What is the point of having a fast car that you can't push because you are worried about the bodykit scraping the ground, or can barely corner properly. All he did was shit people off.

So ok, all its good for is tough laps.. fullsic.. cops love lappers too

    • @GTSBoy Ok so that was the shops problem...they showed R33 rotors on R34 page and i did not know 296 do not fit(and are for R33) Yes i bought "kit" with rotors and pads. Pads are ok(i have GTT calipers front and rear). They have some 324mm but no 310mm. So i dont know if they would fit. I have 17inch LMGT4s So another question. Can i fit those in the rear or they are just "too" big for that?
    • I started removing the tank a while back with the intent to give it a proper clean. Got to a bolt that I couldn't undo completely due to a diff being in the way, so just said f**k it and siphoned the gluggy old fuel out and called it a day. Looking it the tank it looks less corroded than the one in the pics for that billet hanger from Frenchy's anyway. Isn't it the fuel filters job to worry about this stuff? I scraped off most the crusty shit of the hanger but will give it another go before reinstall coz maybe the fuel and return pipes are also full of gunk
    • Pretty sure it is a common fault. I believe this is the only part you need, but don't quote me as I don't have a V36.  I also believe it is a bit of a pain to change and the device needs to be encoded to the car once it is replaced, so may need someone with the right tools. • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
