Newbies welcome to this right? bloody far enough away ehh and same time as silvia meet (coincidence? heh) but i'm hoping to come :).
Big choice. Silvia meet or a club that actually does stuff on a race track.

I don't think our commitee could, or even should give a rats what they are doing.

In case you haven't noticed it's been the 3rd Tues each month for some time but come along anyway, the presentation should be fun to watch.

Ohh I know which is higher on my priorities don't worry bout that, it's just that one is 10 mins drive, and the other is 30 :O.

Hang on - this is a car club isn't it? And the cool thing about cars I find is that you can drive them.

But despite this I'm constantly amazed by the number of people that complain about having to drive to DRIVE to a CAR meet!

Thats a fair call... And a damn good point...

REMINDER - Meeting is on tonight and includes DECA Footage & Presentations.

Come along, have a meal and meet some other members.

Plus - a few of us will be at the Casino from about 4.30ish onwards if anyone else want to come before the meeting.

Meeting was great, thanx to all that organised it again... The video footage was aewsome missed out on both events so to see the footage was good for a catch up.. Thanx Joel for the slideshow was good...

Catch who ever is going to Winton up there...

unfortunatly i couldnt get out of work in time to come. I was wondering if its going to be possible to buy/get the footage on dvd at any stage?? or maybe download it??

Top job on the photo and video footage guys! Good to catch up and have a few beverages too!

Can I please have a copy of the "Bass-Video-Whore-Who-Isnt-In-This-Version-Junky" DVD? Thanks :P

    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
    • This thread keps giving with the OMG!
    • A quick google, and some E39 users have found pulling my sensor out/apart and cleaning it alleviates their issue. Then get the oil warning to go off, and once it is off (from the sensor saying it was unhappy) some find they can just unplug it and it is happy to just keep going now. Maybe give it a crack? If you can actually pull the sensor apart, hit it with some electrical contact cleaner.
    • Yep. In the E39 it's slightly different than the others. Honestly I'd just leave it but every time I drive the car it tells me oil is low and that just makes me check the dipstick. It is a BMW Afterall and it tries to expel it's own oil regularly.  Thankfully it's not like my E90 that has no dipstick at all so you just gotta trust it.
