mini2
No wonder his phone number looks familiar...I almost got burnt by Alex elsewhere. FYI: he's been flogging those pumps on Fast Forums ages ago under the name "milk" but no one complained about it. He also used to sell fake Diesel jeans and some hippy caps too. Malecki
Everything you have displayed in your pic came in the box, although it does not have any labelling of part no. or anything that says Walbro or any instructions Has anyone taken one of these pumps to a pro that knows about these pumps very well and can identify if it is a fake or the real deal??? Ok, I've been asked for pics of what the Walbro pumps are ment to be...they are a lot smaller than a stock fuel pump, but bigger doesn't necessarily mean better!! the body of the pump measures approx 10cm x 4cm (not including plug & fuel feed lines) It should have stamped on the body: This is for Walbro GSS-341 255L/hr High Pressure fuel pump. It has a black top. there are other model walbro's which have different model numbers! Here are pics of what you should get when you order one. (I took these this afternoon). Hope this helps guys! -TK Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/80692-cefiro_pwa-also-known-as-pumpking007/page/3/#findComment-1473237 Share on other sites
R31Nismoid
Seriously how can you tell?I have heaps of dealings on this forum. I think this is taken too lightly. You cant. Its your duty to take your own care. Its not taken too lightly at all. SAU does the best it can. Its a simple case of buyer beware. Not going into it anymore but its been covered a lot in the ideas/feedback section. Im happy if you wanna PM me to go over further Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/80692-cefiro_pwa-also-known-as-pumpking007/page/3/#findComment-1474581 Share on other sites
GTR032
Hey all, I purchased a NISMO clutch off cefiro_pwa only a few months ago..I was slightly sceptical at purchasing at first. I asked how he would like the money to be transfered and he wasn't all that keen on doing a direct transfer so I got a mate in melbourne to arrange it once I paid him (my mate). Cefiro_PWA drove to the other side of melbourne to deliver the clutch which was then sent on to me in sydney. Clutch was pretty close to the amount worn as he said... Maybe I got lucky after all u guys have been ripped off!! Maybe I got lucky after all u guys have been ripped off!! The reason he wanted the cash rather than transfer is so all personal detailes would be kept to a minimum, also sound s like he is running a business illegaly and not paying GST and paying his taxes. I am happy for you ,in that you did not get ripped off. Ask your mate if he has any other detailes on this guy. I called him and of course he denies every thing. He even said he would send proof that the pumps are genuine , and of course NOTHING-------Wa%^&r! MerlinTheHapyPig
lol, he used to buy "genuine" walbro pumps of the same guy i get them from, but he found a cheaper price. It's funny to hear that the cheaper price is because they aren't genuine... there are a few versions of walbro's. cefiro_pwa may have supplied you with one of the lower-quality ones model numbers: 190L/hR GSS250/278 190L/hr High Pressure F20000141 255L/hr GSS315/7 255L/hr High Pressure GSS341/2 The ones I am selling, are Walbro GSS-341 255L/HR High Pressure which are a direct replacement for Nissan Skylines and Silvias/180sx's Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/80692-cefiro_pwa-also-known-as-pumpking007/page/3/#findComment-1475277 Share on other sites

MerlinTheHapyPig
I just got a reply from a seller in the US for these pumps. (different supplier from the one I use) I asked him if all the Walbro's he sells have the model number stamped on them. And he said "Tim, These are original Walbro fuel pumps with the stamping and pat number on each pump. I know about the guy who sells those counterfit Fuel Pumps these are completely original Walbro straight from the US factory" It's probably a case that the counterfit pumps are made in the same factory! but I still think people should be getting exactly what they paid for. Though anyway, I guess this confirms that there are counterfit pumps floating around. It's also possible to get the pump without the pipes and hose clamps. The pump can be purchased from Walbro cheaper by itself. The "install kit" adds like $3US for a clamp and $5 US for a hose! so some sellers won't bother with these, given that they can be purchased locally for much less. exXU1
OK guys this is all starting to make a little more sence. So in effect these pumps( counterfeit) are Walbro pumps so they will be OK if one tests them for flow , right? For this is the only way to check for correct size pump for the given application because of lack of ID. Merlin . exXU1
Fellas, i have found the pump in the states, it is a Walbro copy or similar. Looks like we may not have done our hard earnt cash! I am sure if "slime ball " had told all buyers that they were a copy but please read the data on them that this all would have been a lot easier. Advertising a non genuine Walbro as a Walbro is still False adversing and fraudulant. Mr Cefiro_PWA you should be ashamed of your self as this is a non ethical approach on doing business and i hope you fail in all your business ventures as i do not believe that you will learn f , one way or another. Keep running pal! Link below fellas. Google -- TREperformance.com then search fuel pump on the web page, screen comes up- scroll down to the bottom, pumps 255 ltr hour - similar to Walbro AND that's the sucker we all have ! YES? JDMimports
what is needed on SAU is a similar sticky as NS.com. a traders verification/details section. all business, accounts, phone, address details, ABN/ACN to be posted by each trader to ensure validity and legitimacy of their business. surely with all of these details, anybody can be tracked down through the Dept of Fair Trading if shit hits the fan. JDMimports
so ummm.. was he only selling one pump at a time? in this case, id understand how forum members would be sucked in to purchasing these pumps, but if he was selling multiple items, then its a worry. Blitz
He was selling a large amount of parts and advertising that he had a number of fuel pumps that he "bought for his mates" buyers do need to use a great deal more caution though, the way he carried on and the parts being sold were all very suspect. I spent hours scouring archives checking his history on both forums and its immediately obvious just how full of shit the guy really is.
