Hey guys would a set of 18"s 9.5 and +26 with 255/35 tyres all round fit fine without any issues on a four door r33gtst stock height?

Edited by BrOwnY GT

Hey guys need some advice been looking through this topic ALL night and still unsure of what to get. Ok I have an r33 gtst wanting 18 by 9 or 19 by 8.5 in the front and 18 or 19 by 10 in the rear. I want to run at least 265 40 tires in rear and 235 or 245 40 tires up front. Really want this height cause the roads here a kinda bad, willing to drop to a 35 in height but that is the absolute lowest I can go. Now I was wondering what offset I would need for the front and rears to make the wheels fit with as little modification as possible? I can adjust height and roll guards if I have to, but that is all I really want to do. What offset do I have to run to make these combinations work?

I was thinking an offset in the low 20's would work for the front and low 30's high 20's for the rear?

What do you guys suggest?

this will be a little different from the norm..

Skyline model = R33GTST

Wheel diameter = 18"

Wheel width = 13

Wheel offset = a magic number

Tyre size = either a 275/35/18 or 295/35/18

Modifications to fit = Widebody

i so thought about buying those for my 33 gtst..

I'm rolling on 18x9.5 +12 fronts, 18x10 +15 rears on completely standard metal, no roll or lipping at all, i am running 225/40/18 all around though on teins

Havent had a good look, but I should be able to fit 18 x9 18 x 10 +22 on a 32 gtst with a little camber and slight roll pretty easy yeah? What tyre sizes would people reccomend? Thinking 215 and 235 in a 40 or 45?

my fronts are 18x9.5+12 with 225/40 r18 tyres ,modifications to ift are rolled guards and remove the inner plastic .

and the rears are 18x10.5+22 with 245/40r18 tyres ,modifications were rolled and flared guards done by a mobile guard roller/flarer

i have about neg2 on the fronts and 0 camber on the rears . hope this helps at all .

Pics please! You must have some stiff coilovers

Hi there, fairly new to the skyline scene, and not sure if the wheels I've got in mind would fit or be too wide... Any advice you could give me would be appreciated. I've got an N/A R33 which has the 4 stud hubs. I'm gonna be doing a 5 stud conversion soon, and so I'm starting to look at wheels. I've got a set of wheels in mind... They're 18s which are 10in wide all round, with 30 offset. They're coming off an S15, so I'm under the impression that means they should fit my 33 with no problems after the conversion? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks guys.

Ah, yeah true.

Anyone got pics of 9.5 +22 on a 33 gtst? Got some Rays in mind, pretty confident they'll fit but wouldn't mind seeing how they sit

they will sit 3mm further out then my professors did....

AWWWWW come on guys no help!!! Help please?????? Open to suggestions. What is the widest tire size I can run in the rear and mods would I need to make these rims fit front and rear? Looking at 18 or 19 by 9 up front and 18 or 19 by 10 in the rear. I dont mind rolling the guard and a bit of camber but if it can be avoided I would like to if not I am willing. Offset for front +36 rears +43

Just copy and fill in the table;

Skyline model = R32 Gtr

Wheel diameter = 18"

Wheel width =10"

Wheel offset =+12

Tyre size =235 40 18

Modifications to fit = none so far.

Car has bc coilovers fitted. Front can go lower which ill do when i get more time. reckon the back may rub with passengers.post-66556-0-47619800-1329052281_thumb.jpgpost-66556-0-01544800-1329053283_thumb.jpg

    • Ok I FINALLY found a video lol. This took way longer than it should have as I could have sworn I saw multiple videos like this. I kept finding the completely opposite (the correct way of doing this). I wouldn't be surprised if I f**ked this up somehow.  I just realised where I've been getting confused and even with other things I work on. I haven't been doing things the regular way instead I'm going a roundabout way of doing things, like putting epoxy primer first then filler for example instead of putting just filler then primer on top of that, then wondering what happens if I get that primer on the clear coat that I haven't sanded yet. This was a bit of an epiphany 😂  But anyways, here this video. Time stamp, 2:56, some of the primer lands on the paint unscuffed above. You can see from the reflection it looks shiny.
    • It does, this part circled in red. I assume the OEM bolt might not work well with the poly bushing because the dimensions may be different?
    • The J arm doesn't have bushes either. Assuming that by "J arm" you mean the part of the upright that runs down from the upper arm's outer bushes to the top of the hub. That has a kingpin style bearing in it. If you meant the lower control arm, it has 1 bush, at its inner end. If you have PU in there, that is superior to Nismo rubber. If you meant the caster/tension rod - it has 1x bush at the front end, and again PU is superior to Nismo rubber. But as I said above, I would definitely get the GKTech arms for that, as sphericals slay all other options there.
    • Yep I'll find those and get back to you. To be honest I wasn't aware of data sheets until you mentioned it. I'm still new to this haha, lots to learn. My car is parked outside, it rusted in less than 24 hours lol. Only minor surface rust that was easily removed but I've been worried that it might rust from the inside out and screw me over in the long term (if I decide to keep the shitbox for that long).
    • Sorry I meant nismo bushes in the J arm, not the actual gktech upper camber control arm.
