honestly to me it looks ugly wen i see a skinny gtst with a monster GTR badge on it, i think the badge suites the fat gtr bodies!!!!

so i agree dont make ur car look ugly, oh and also i hate seeing those ugly stickers down the dorrs and accross the windscreen!!!

I don't personally like rear wings at all.

an R32 GTS without a wing looks great.

R32 GTR with stock wing is great too.

R33 GTST series 1 or 2 with the flat little boot tail you can buy looks great.

R34's... don't pay too much attention to them

I do have to say, with a FMIC, the R32 and R33 GTST's are crap with the stock bar.

GTR item looks the best on both models when you fit a FMIC.

unless there is an aftermarket bar for those cars that are similar to a factory GTR one, I'd go for a GTR front bar.

I hate it when GTST's cut up the front bar to fit a cooler and it has this massive gap and the whole front just looks wrong.

Badging... who cares.

apart from the GT badges on each side, I don't like any of them.

  Sticking a GTR badge on a GTsT doesn't make it one.. as a matter of fact, it makes you look like a TOOL.. don't do it.

End rant.

I agree I have noticed a lot of gtst's down this way lately that all have GTR badges on them and i just laugh.

Its a wanna be factor just be happy with what u got. You dont need to make it something its not.

Cheers

Scott

34s need wings.....well unless you get a reall fat and low rear bar or the car has been lowered it looks weird with no wing on a stock rear bar. stock wing is fine :)

The kits are a nice upgrade.. the wing rocks.. it's just the badge that looks sad. I heard once that someone had stuck one of these badges on his steering wheel... on the airbag...Keep an eye out for a dickhead with a reversed GTR tatoo on his forehead.

Not quite a GT-R, but close enough, well, maybe even better :P

atleast it's not a GT-R badge on an N/A auto....

buut i don't like it, don't like people passing it off as something it isn't.

IIIiiii don't bloody know, there could be exceptions though. Meh, back to the alcohol..

If I had a GTR I would remove the badge so idiots wouldnt try to race me.

If I had a GTS I would never pose as a GTR so idiots could smoke me.

i have seen 2 stupid examples recently.

1 white gts r32 with GTR badge. The guy was behind me at the lights revving his car when the light went green he tried to overtake me on the LEFT SIDE!!!

moron almost found himself planted in the taxi parked on the side of the road.

But the one that takes the cake is the dude in marrickville with the SW20 MR2 with the ferrari badges.

These are the kind of people that buy a tshirt from k-mart and stick a diesel label on it and pass it off as deisel

If you want a GTR buy one, or if you are loke me and can not afford one then just admire one :(

ferrari my ass...

    • I read this and thought "ah! I will do this scissor jack on the tow point thing!" I just use my floor/low profile/costco jack and lift the car up by the tow hook itself, then slide jack stands under. Never thought about using scissor into floor jack combo :p
    • Well, my new WMI system took much longer to finalize. I actually missed my dyno appointment last Friday and lost my 150$ deposit. I'll be going back in the next week or two.  To sum it up. I only kept the AEM tank from my old setup. I replaced the AEM pump with a higher flow/pressure ProMeth 30GPH pump. I also swapped over to a 6AN low pressure feed line to the pump from the tank. There's also a pressure switch you cannot see on the pump high pressure line.    This is feeding 6x 200CC direct port nozzles and 1x 500CC Pre Throttle body nozzle. All fittings are Swagelok, because well why not. I also have a 300PSI pressure sensor up front.    I now have my Haltech ECU controlling everything. I start my pump with a basic relay at 5PSI and deadhead it. I then PWM a 3000CC methanol Injector to control flow starting around 10psi. The pressure switch in the trunk, along with my tank level are safeties before I ever get to 10PSI, and then I use my pressure sensor upfront as a secondary safety to cut the WMI and corrections in case the injector blocks or a line ruptures.  Wish me luck on the dyno!
    • So, I'm back with bad news. There's no jack long enough on this planet that will reach the front subframe. If by some chance there is, it would weigh 200lb's.  I purchased a long reach jack... The damn thing weighted 120lb's and was massive. Didn't even come close, was still short at least a foot. It was a pain, but I brought it back. Next I decided HA! No problem, I'll get an Extra long reach jack. Well, I couldn't lift the box... It must have weighed 160LB's and luckily there was an open box in store. I took measurement and was still nowhere close.  Sadly I've lost hope and have accepted defeat.
    • Thanks for that tip, niZmO_Man. I think the battery is OK. It's quite a new one, but I'll check. Last time I needed a new battery, everything electronic was fine, except that there wasn't enough current to turn over the starter. I decided to order one of the partial AV system translation CDs from Car Audio Workshop in NZ. That might have some effect, or help me diagnose the date problem. 🤞
    • I suppose it was relatively stock too, the JZ motor handle most mods thrown at them without even breaking a sweat
