Engine Bearings For Rb26

I'm about to source some big end and main bearings for my RB26.

I have 4 options:

* Genuine Nissan mains and big ends (not likely as the big ends are too soft)

* NISMO (Good, becasue they are graded and I can easily get the clearance I want and supposedly good bearings)

* Tomei (similar price to NISMO).

* ACL Race

I'm probably leaning towards the ACL race bearings becasue of price.

Has anyone used these?

The other thing is that I will be using a brand new crank, are the clearances likely to come out okay withe the ACL bearings given that they aren't graded?

If they are too small, I can always lenish the crank a little, but what if they are too large?

While I'm at it, I'm planning to run about 0.00125" - 0.00150" clearances. How does that sound?

Thanks in advance

I'm using King bimetal high performance. Fairly well priced as well.

The builder was able to get them for cheaper than the nismo items.

+ he had used king with success in the past.

I've done 20,000km's so far. :(

Another vote for King here... have used NK (I think it was NK...) bearings before who make them for Nismo... tri-layer style bearing. After 10,000kms with no detonation one was pretty worse for wear and on its way to picking up/spinning.

Put King's in and have done another 20,000kms and no problems what so ever.

I've heard bad reports of using tri-metal style bearings in hipo rb30's from the VL turbo boys, we are talking up over 300rwkw though.

An RB is an RB. :(

Forgot to mention im making over 300kw at the wheels (2530's). The Nismo bearings according to two engine builders I spoke to are tri-layer bearings produced by NK (Im pretty sure the company name is NK, cant remember 100% off the top of my head though).
