You should be looking around the $10k bracket anyway...

The cost of insurance will bump you up to around $15,000 if you're wanting to insure an import on P's.

Here's a list of Car sales and Importers

B)

I have an R33 Gtst Automatic, Turbo, Silver as seen here: http://www.allblitz.com.au/cars/japcars/94gtstm3.html

All mods except Exhaust have been removed. Vehicle has been complianced. I can let go of this one for $13,900 With 12 Months REG.

It is due to come to Melbourne mid next week.

went to carizma today had a good deal R33 GTS-4II manual for 19900 is this a good deal?? only had 60000kms

So you are looking for a non-turbo? Both the GTS and the GTS4 are non-turbo i hope you know.

hehe, u cant tell dezz is always looking around constantly, but its wot u have todo to get a good car. it used to annoy the hell outta me looking for spevefic things in a car and finding the same cars still on there week in week out

im looking to sell my car, to buy a ute or a 4wd, havent advertised it yet though

now pushing 220rwkw without injectors, will let it go for pretty cheap, can drop u the specs

I was gonna strip most of the stuff off but i cbf, if i can get around the 17-18 mark for it ill be happy

Buy private, not a dealer. Non turbo GTS i'd look for a series2 if you can find one, should be able to get one for 13-15k?

Don't pay any attention to km's on the clock, 99% of imports are wound back, pat attention to the condition of the car, seats, steering wheel, gearstick/handbrake leather, pedals etc.. and how well it has been maintained.

hey mate... i know you said no to a turbo, but maybe if your dad saw that u can pick 1 up for $12k, series 1 33 GTS-T with a shit load of mods, he may re-consider?

there's 1 for sale at the moment for that price...in the for sale section

o would most people agree better to go private eventho some dealers have warranty and cheap spare parts??

Dealer warrentys aren't worth much. Since it is thier own money they have to fork out they try to get out of paying for anything. Factory warrenties are different - they are worth it, but only come on a new car.

Besides dealers are good at hiding things. The more they hide about the car the better the price they can get.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
