Well its just over two months now until the jolly fat man will be taking reign over the TV channels and after the success last year, I figure it would be a great idea to have one again this year.

So who is interested in a SAU Xmas Cruise? Thought id post it up stupidly early so everyone has plenty of notice, but initial details I was thinking were along the lines of...

DATE: 10th Deceber 2005 (Saturday)

WHEN: 12:00PM (Midday)

WHERE: Meet at the National Museum of Canberra car park (as we do on Friday nights)

GOING TO: Cruise down to the cotter for a BBQ and some drinks or what ever floats your boat.

As per last year, was also thinking after the cruise we could all head to our adopted home of the Jerra Pub to continue our Xmas festivities and get pleasantly drunk throughout the evening and night. Jerra has reasonably priced dinner and drinks, and has always been a good venue.

So whos up for it? And YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN FOOD IF YOU WANT TO EAT!!!!! We have encountered this problem many times in the past, no bringy esky and food, no eaty eaty.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
