Well I've promised myself i wouldn't buy any more car parts until i sell some , im confused with what wheels i should put on it though , i have gold sparco rims off the 33 or the p1 i was going to put on blue 32 or , im tempted to put the sp1's on it , i have way too much shit for one person ...

finaly got my self a brand new t04 turbo, external waste gate, rising rate fuel pressure reg and 48 side draft weber(draw threw setup), in the prosess of getting the manifold cleaned and nickle plated, then water and methonal injection :)

just waiting on a few small bits and pieces to take her off the road again and get some boost happening :D

hoping for about 300HP ish.

enough to have some fun with....

800hp Turbo for 300hp? :/

Can anyone recommend a good place to get side skirts fitted and painted and front bumper resprayed? Obviously no one wants to pay more than they have to but i'd rather pay more for something perfect as the product remains after the money is forgotten.

After a perfect paint match and don’t want any orange peel, prefer both items painted off the car as it is currently a perfect respray and don’t want it ruined with overspray :yucky:.

Cheeeeeeeeeeers in advance

I'm looking to probably sell my R33 if anyone is in the market for one. Black, manual, rb25det, registered, no defects, coilovers, advan rims, all electrics etc. 11k ono.

Reason for sale is moving to another state soon and will probably just pick something up there.

Well , i finally got my track hack going after replacing the turbo , small issue , i took the old turbo off thinking there was a problem with it , i pulled it apart and found nothing wrong with it (apart from a small crack in the rear housing, and me breaking the rear wheel off while taking the rear housing off) , i put the new turbo on and it's still making the same sound! . Nfi where to look , all the gaskets are new etc :( so back to the drawing board... I think i may just have to register it and then change all the manifolds and piping (to after market etc)

Have you tired pressurizing your cooler piping etc?

Not yet , it sounds like the compressor is touching the housing , but it doesn't because i checked all of that out before i put it back together , it's quite audible from the air filter , which gives me a big ??? . Only gasket i haven't checked is the 3 bolt one that comes off the compressor , i can't see it being that though .

it's prolly that one, Toffy.

aaaah, the infamous Kennedy car. Never saw that video before - needs more engine/exhaust music ;)

I made that video last night :)

I have no doubt in my mind it is that or the housing itself , with my luck , it would be the hardest thing to change , or the simplest . Either way , it's a good excuse to use the ceff setup :D . So Mr Kennedy has got his car to the track finally , about time , plenty of $$$ there , i was waiting for him to have a go! Tell him next time you see him that i said he is soft! .

So i sold my teks last week, since then car has been on jackstands untill tomorrow when i pick up my new wheels.

I will post up a pic either tomorrow night or wednesday but untill then im not saying what they are.

I have a feeling i will be doing a fair bit of guard work / going wide guards though :)

should be with the money invested in it! Pumped to be a passenger in it at some stage though.

Would rather be the driver! Especially if the owner wants to drive lol *waves to Blake*

more pics of yours with the wheels on it?

    • Just had this happen to me too.  R32 GTR.   Also broke "just before going out onto the track" - someone up there is looking out for us... Very scary since I was about to do a narrow street course with zero run-off and curbs everywhere. Many people on here upgrading to billet uprights and R35 bearings?   Or buying new OEM knuckles?  I am not keen to replace with another s/h 30 year old fatigued part.
    • Top off with distilled water and see what happens. If you keep losing coolant then you know to start looking.
    • Nope.    Grab a varex and turn it down as you get close to home, win win?
    • So, I've had my V36 for about a month now and have already copped an "excessive exhaust noise" notification from QLD TMR, reported by someone in my local area. It's a twin as per the original, and can have a bit of a throaty note to it when idling cold 😄 and if I do get up it a bit, it can be noisy, but it did pass a roadworthy inspection before sale, so.... ... but in the interest of being a good neighbour, I do want to quieten it down a bit. Is anyone here running a quiet aftermarket cat-back on their V36 or 370Z? And the big, bold question: does an aftermarket cat-back really make much of a performance difference on these cars?
    • The wiring diagram for the R33 RB25 is freely available, and is essentially the same same as most other RBs (just with differences as to which pin # does which job). To get the ECU to power up, you just need to provide power to the ECCS relay, and have the other power feeds that come in from the top left of the wiring diagram (wrt the ECU) that give perma power to the fuel pump relay, the ECU itself, etc etc, all connected. When you put power on all these it will just come to life. It's pretty clear from the diagram what needs to happen. Just follow the lines from the 12V + supply stuff in the top left over towards the ECU. I've even posted snips of such diagrams (not for vanilla 25, I think for Neo and 26) to various threads here in the last few months, talking about what it takes to get the fuel pump and FPCM up and going. Search these up and they will help get you started on doing the same with the vanilla 25 diagram. Hell, for all I know, I've done the same with that one in years past and have forgotten.
